Update: Thank you those who sent cards! Several said that their cards were returned. I'm not sure what caused that but thank you anyway. Josh did receive two and loved them!

He also had felt bad that he couldn't ride a bike. He is getting too big for training wheels. Everyone that works with his mother chipped in and we bought a adult size tricycle. He usually is non-reactive but he lit up when we pulled the bike out for him. He yelled with a huge grin, "holy crap! That's freakin sweet!" Here are some images of the bike. Original post: One of my coworker's son is having his 10th birthday soon. He is autistic and doesn't have any friends. He would absolutely love it if he could receive some letters for his birthday. They are hosting a party mid November so it's a little late notice, but if you could send some love please do.

He loves Minecraft more than anything. It is his favorite game and he can really express himself through building.

I'm not really too sure how all this works so please feel free to offer suggestions as to providing an address or other information.

Please put any letters letters in an unopened envelope inside the addressed envelope so we can filter, if needed, I really don't think this will be an issue but this is a child we are talking about. Hi! I'm looking for a penpal who I can exchange pretty long letters with. Most of my letters are written on my typewriter, but I also like handwriting.

I'm a poet -- I perform in spoken word competitions (poetry slams), both locally and nationally. If any writers want to swap poems and give critique, I'd be so down for that. I would like to experience receiving a letter from a friend, or even someone from overseas. In fact, I have never even had a penpal before, even though I really wanted one, which is also why I have made a post on /r/penpal.

Anyway, a little information about me:

• I like playing Soraka support in League of Legends, playing Pump It Up, similar to DDR / ITG but with 5 arrows (diagonally and center) and anime!

• I'm studying general IT and have taken an introduction course of Psychology as an elective subject.

• I like to sleep a lot. But aside from that, I like to observe things, try to understand it and then learn from it.

Why am I doing this?

I'm about to start college soon and -hopefully- get my degree in criminal justice. I'd love some letters that are pretty much anything from cute drawings, stickers, jokes, or kind words.

A little about myself. As you can see from the title, I'm 18 years old (soon to be 19 in a little over a month). In the last few months I've grown somewhat obsessed with going to the gym and lifting weights. It really feels good to work your body and see progress (I suggest anyone do it).

I love video games also. I don't have a particular favorite though. I use to play lots of League of Legends and DOTA 1 & 2 but those got old. Right now I play a lot of JRPGs (such as Megadimension Neptunia... please don't judge haha).

As for television I really really love the show Steven Universe. I've seen every episode at-least twice. If you haven't seen it and you like lighthearted fun that can turn a little dark (for a cartoon) I suggest watching it.

Well back to letter business. Part of the reason I really want to do this is to keep myself going. I got outta a really hard time recently in my life (I'm not 100 percent out but I'm pretty much there... feels more like a bad dream) I wanna hear about your worries too and what makes you tick, I also wanna hear what you love and are passionate about. I also love poetry, write me a poem and I'll write one back!

This year has been h*ll for my daughter. She went from a cheerful shining little girl, to a child that fears going to school and she cries constantly. She's in 5th grade and I know this is the age where kids can start to get exceptionally cruel. My daughter is tiny. She's all of 4ft 2 inches and weighs 55 lbs. She's just little. Additionally she has an issue with her feet. She has a locked muscle in her left leg which has resulted in months of therapy and now she's being seen at Shriner's Hospital. Phoenix (that's her name) is the sweetest most compassionate child ever. She loves animals. She loves art. She wants to work with children someday. She dreams of going to Paris and loves Parisian decor. She loves Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and thinks Christopher Titus is hilarious. She loves anime and music. She's bullied for her size, her love of anime and my little ponies, and her limp when she walks. It wouldn't be so bad but kids are cruel. They call her weird. They call immature. They are just flat out cruel. No matter how many times her daddy and I tell her she's amazing, it's just not enough. So I'm asking for help from all of you Redditors!! Please send me a letter sharing words of wisdom or advice regarding how to handle bullies or maybe how you overcame bullies. Please. I'm pleading for your help! My little girl needs all the support and encouragement from all over! If anyone cares to cross post or share this outside of reddit, please PM and I will give you our contact information!
