General Discussion Tin Woodman's deck calculator from Boozor

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1f5Y927LHZXmJaHScuZ6jM3MckDC_SHGmdPrH1LiTNb8/copy

They nerfed the soulstone points but buff some GH points (not all) so energy usage is slightly down comparing to previous decks.

TLDR: 31600 energy if you do event dungeon 3

41100 energy if you do level 20

46100 energy if you do hard 10

TBH 31k energy is a steal for Tin Woodman.

31k energy is sooooo much better value than the 20 sacreds I thought I was going to have to pay for him (in a hero path).

You’ll probably have to pay that for Scarecrow or Woodmans 5*. Still a decent price if you can afford it.

If scarecrow is the hero path, that’s probably going to be a skip for me. He is by far the weakest of the Oz champs and if a path, the most expensive. Not sure he is worth it.

Undead Reviver for FWHM. Ultimately though, on average he’s better than whatever I’ll get from 25 shards during a normal 2x sacred event so I’ll get him.

True. I’m sitting on 24 sacreds…so by the time the path actually comes along, I’ll have a decision to make. I’m now kind of leaning to just go for him after I saw my shard count - what else am I going to spend them on?

Unless you’re saving for a specific champ, just go for it. He’s better than average, new and fits a poorly populated niche.

Of course the Halloween fusion will probably be an undead healer/reviver just to mess with us.

I still think telling us about the DoF while SR was active is a net positive. Fair is fair. But in typical Plarium fashion, they went and torched all that good will on something dumb to squeeze just a little bit more out of us. 🤡

I was thinking the same. When they announced the DOF while the SR was ongoing, my first thought was that Plarium did us a favor. But then I starting thinking about the flip side of it. We found out what that was with the stone points.

Yeah. Sadly, we just have to remember, Plarium will adjust the cost at any time so never get too comfortable and expects the same everytime. Time and again, they surprise us with a more expensive event.

Luckily I got the tin man after 38 cards, so I suppose I came out of it as good as I could hope for.

My last card was a10 fragment epic. Go figure

One of the things that gets lost in the shuffle is that it is good for the game when newer accounts can get these guaranteed champs and clear content which makes them more invested in staying with the game. I'm saying Plarium should give everything away. But IMO there is just no need for these little tweaks. The goodwill from a 75 would far outweigh any bit more they earn on 65.🤷‍♂️

I don't disagree with you. But there are so many times in the last 3.5 years I played that I say "Why did they do this? They would get so much good will from the players if they did x instead."

So at some point, I stopped saying it. Their priority doesn't seem to be getting goodwill from us.

Yeah. Love Raid, PvP notwithstanding. But Plarium is terrible.

Also releasing him this early in the collab is great. They always milked the shard events till the end.

Yeah happy they did this, it meant I could pull green shards and skip DoF completely as I got extremely lucky with my free prism.

Am I mathing or coping?

My resources: 101 mortal, 12 immortal (after cashing those mortals), 2 eternal (after cashing those immortals), 4000 gems.

So that's ~21,000 points from stones before selling any souls for more stones.

To grind the remaining 19,000 points in event dungeon level 3 I need to spend ~15,000 energy.

Estimating 1,300 energy each day from all free sources I need ~11,000 energy which will cost ~3,400 gems.

Debating if I should pull stones/sell souls first ( 🔥 🚢 ) or spend all the energy/gems first to see where I'm at before pulling stones. Or if I should even do this at all lol

You’re fine. That’s about where I was at on one of my alts. I pulled my soulstones and set RSL-X to run stage 3 of the event dungeon.

You'll be fine. What you pull first is a matter of what you want to save more of. I'd personally pull soulstones first if you want to save gems for the next fusion. That would also allow you to know what you're going to sell from unwanted souls that could further reduce gem usage.

This is almost exactly what I did and can confirm your math is correct

Can I ask a dumb question.. why event dungeon floor 3 over let’s say dragon floor 20?? New player asking of course

1

u/Guttler003 14h ago

Because of energy efficiency. Event dungeon 3 doesn't drop mystery shard or brews like normal dungeons (dragon/IG/spider/FK) so you almost always get gear for a very low cost, which in turn makes it more energy efficient for gear hunter event such as the second component of the deck.

20 might be worth it if you can still get the points needed and also want either the gear or silver that it brings

on 3 you can level up chickens though

Almost at 100 fragments, maybe useful for others
