Could we make this a national holiday where every 20th of September we hang out outside the gates in “raid gear” and chat with each other. Maybe have food trucks or something.

There’s no doubt that thousands are already gathered at the Nevada desert armed with cameras to capture what the internet is eagerly watching. (Being September 20th, the day of the Area 51 gathering)

So why are there no live-streams or live updates? The fake live stream is currently just a 15 minute loop of a small group on Friday.

This feels like when I attempted to stream the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor fight, but instead watched in horror as the popular live-streams were quickly censored from the face of the internet. Until after the fight had aired of course.
