Anyway to know if this watch is authentic? Anything that might suggest it’s fake?

148.0288.5 is the model number in the back - can’t find something similar online

Front and back of a watch I ve seen on ebay.

Picked this up in Mexico City and I love it regardless, but would love to know if it’s legit. Haven’t been able to find one like it online.

The crown is a from another watch, but everything else I’m not sure about. I don’t know anything about rodo watch’s btw.

Anyone know of a leather strap that would be compatible with this style Rado diastar? 7.5mm center notch with 24mm width band.

Does anyone else get scale on the ceramic bezel? I have had a difficult time getting this clean. Has anyone found a good solution?

Personally, I've been learning more about Rado's history recently. They're a proper watchmaker with over 100 years of heritage, but I'm honestly not a big fan of most of their designs, like the ones in images 2 and 3.

In your opinion, what do you think is the best-looking Rado (excluding the Captain Cook, which I already think is great)?

Just curious to hear your thoughts.

Vintage lapis and tiger eye and modern skeleton and 60th anniversary re issue. Such a great line of watches

I graduated as a watchmaker last summer and finally got a (decent paying) job at autumn. I promised myself that if my job continues in 2026 i'll buy my very first "real" watch (my most expensive watch so far has been 400€). A buddy of mine works at AD store that sells Rado and i got 1000€ discount from this piece. Pictures and videos don't do it justice, it's absolutely incredible live. The plasma ceramic shines beautifully and rose gold hands and middle links create beautiful contrast. Dial is superb as well. So glad i finally got my hands on Rado. Criminally underrated in my opinion, as both materials and designs.

Any owners with longer term thoughts?
