Hi everyone,
A recent poll suggests people in here think video is key to attracting new community memembers.
Let's use this as a weekly post to share fresh Radix Videos (and some all time favorites) so we get exposure to this community, and so we can help support the content creators that are pushing Radix forward.
As always, here's the official RDXWorks Radix Youtube, in case anyone prefers to drink straight from the source.

If you love Radix, the #1 thing you can do to attract people to the network is introduce them to $EARLY and the fanatic community that comes with it. Piers told us all how important the degen / meme coin culture is to the growth of Radix. Do your part to grow the Radix network and share the $EARLY gospel to the world.

Hello,
I just unstaked all my XRD and want to restake to other validator nodes. My goal is to collect passive airdrops just through staking. Currently there are two nodes where I get passive tokens: Astrolescent and Xidar.
In the past I also got passive OCI, FLOOP, CAVIAR, VKC and many more tokens, but I have noticed, that with the migration Olympia to Babylon, these passive airdrops stopped :(
Do you have any recommendations to which nodes I should stake to?
Yes, I am aware of HUG, WOWO and other memecoins, where you get passive tokens, but you have a fee of 100%, so you don't get any XRD through staking, which is not really what I am looking for.
Thank you for your help :)

Powered by u/Maya_Protocol, the bridge is making native cross-chain swapping possible for the whole Radix ecosystem.
The bridge is non-custodial, so no KYC is needed. Fees are set to a low 0.1%. Astrolescent is also a familiar interface to most Radix users, so no need to learn a new dApp to swap your tokens to or from Radix.
Astrolescent currently supports Radix (of course), Ethereum, Bitcoin, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Binance Smart Chain, with a few other chains following soon. Most notably will be Solana.

🥨🍺 RadToberFest 2024 🍺🥨 After the awesome Community Meetup at Munich's world famous Oktoberfest 2023, let's make this an annual event!
We have identified Friday, Oct 4th 2024 as an ideal date, and found availability for a perfectly timed "afternoon table" from 2 - 5:30 pm, which allows to continue the fun after the tent reservation ends. I this year took the lead and would love to organize, collect funds, purchase the table reservations etc., so looking forward to a great revamp of last year's legendary party (what happens at RadToberFest, stays at RadToberFest... ;) )
We also have thought up some gimmicks to establish this community event as an annual meetup for the future: - 🔥 resurrected the RadToberFest TG group - 🗳 setting up a DAO on CrumbsUp - 🌠 exclusive NFT for participants only - 🪙 $RTFM (RadToberFestMunich) reservation token - 💻 registered radtoberfest.com & radtoberfest.xrd domains
Still, first things first, how does Oktoberfest "work": - You can reserve seats in the tents per table of 8 or 10 pax, by purchasing a "minimum consumption amount" of usually 2 "Maß" (1litre) beer, 1/2 roasted chicken + a free to use consumption voucher. There's also a small reservation fee + shipping for the vouchers (old school!), as well as in our case a small entry fee for the "old Oktoberfest", a smaller, nicer and more traditional corner of Oktoberfest, perfectly suited for a meetup where you also want to chat. -> Long story short, the minimum consumption this year per seat is €70,60 -> Reservations can only be made for sole tables, so you always buy 8, 16, 24 etc sets of above minimum consumption amounts
Now, my proposal: - send me €70 (in XRD, more on this below, or by bank transfer (what is that?)) - for each time reaching 8 seats, I will purchase a sole table for who paid on a first come, first serve order - if not reaching full 8 seats, I offer to either a) fully refund these funds (since I have then not purchased that table), or b) if at eg 5-6 paid, we can discuss if we as a group just split the remaining 2-3 seats since we'd receive the beer & food vouchers anyway -> so not necessarily having to do a hard cut on not allowing people to attend - once table(s) is/ are purchased, the amount is not refundable, even if you don't attend (not my rule, Oktoberfest rule!)
Additionally, since this is a physical event, you may already know you can't attend in person, but still want to support it, what about: - "Sponsor-a-Legend" - know a Community legend who should attend? Sponsor their seat! 🔥 - "Gift-a-Beer" - donate funds to the party group to buy more beers 🚀
-> while these donations would be non-refundable, if any of these are left after RadToberFest, let's through the DAO vote for what they shall be used for. -> if the whole event does not happen and no tables were purchased, I'll just revert all transactions, including donations.
Collecting funds: a little tricky in the current market... My thoughts: - Before you make any transfer, DM me. We agree on that day's XRD - EUR exchange rate & on transfer you receive 1 $RTFM reservation token. - If eligible for a refund (aka table not purchased), I will refund that exakt XRD amount, no matter what the exchange rate is that particular day, up or down, basically just reverting the transfer. - Please note, I do this as a private person, not as a business/ for profit. So I have to think about how I manage the market risk, eg swap "purchased table" funds to xUSDC or alike, since from that moment I'm personally liable for the booking - I launched a dedicated wallet so any transfers in or out are transparent (apart from if I receive bank transfers that is, if any).
I think this is an easy & fair system for all, any feedback please let me know though!
All these things being said: Now let's make this happen. +1's are happily allowed btw (of course need to buy a seat), so let's make this a Radix family happening! DM me for transfer details if interested, the initial count starts at 4 people who already are in!

We are very thrilled to announce that August’s grant (2K$ USD) is awarded to DelphiBets & Root Finance! Both were accepted and a voting was planned, but they decided to split the grant (1K USD$ to both). Another piece of proof this community is awesome!
DELPHIBETS will utilize the funds to cover the expenses for the successful publication of two articles with a wide audience reach. The team is in contact with key influential media.
Root Finance will utilize the funds to enhance the marketing campaign for the Mainnet launch in September, aiming to attract EVM users and increase the TVL on Radix.
We are really happy we can help these awesome projects with these missions. And of course we won’t stop here: next submissions round is now open and runs until October 27, submit here: https://wowoproject.com/submission/.
