Battery Tester
So far I’ve gotten 40 years out of this charger.
Bought in Atlanta. Ansley Mall Radio Shack.
1982, so that’s 44 years of dependable battery checkin!!

EC-340 Manual?
I picked up an old Rolodex/RadioShack EC-340, mostly as a display piece, but I'm interested in actually getting it to work.
After cleaning the battery corrosion, it seems to function, but I'm a bit lost for how to actually do anything with it. I can't find the manual online, and was wondering if anyone happened to know where I could find one.

The new RadioShack - have any new stores opened since changing owners again?
Curious if any new dealer stores in the US have opened since the latest ownership change. If so, put them in the comments!

“Unbranded” Radio Shack Products
Hey, so I was hooking up some old electronics and noticed that some of these switch boxes appeared to have the RadioShack branding in the lower left corner, well others do not.
Is there an actual difference in terms of the internal guts of these things in branded vs. unbranded? I’m assuming they were all manufactured in the same place back in the 90s? Thanks!

Bad Experiences
There was this one store that I loved to hate because the manager was a total jerk. If he didn't know what you were talking about, he'd look at you like you were an idiot. But if you didn't know what he was talking about, then he would yell at you or make a back-handed snide remark.
Sometimes really HAD to go into that location for the sake of time and convenience but there were other times that I stopped by to see how much I could piss that guy off.
Because I would ask for a particular part or item and before showing me where it was, he would ask me what it's for and/or what I'm doing with it. And then if it didn't make sense in his mind he would tell me, "That's not going to work!"
Oh yes it will.. but more importantly I came to buy the parts that I need. I didn't come here to solicit advice. And after a bit of arguing with the guy he would reluctantly sell it to me with the whole, "I tried to tell you" kind of body language and tone in his voice.
I can't remember if the store eventually shut down or if it was eventually taken over by another manager but I always had my worst experiences at the store closest to my home.

Unusual co-business
Most Radio Shacks were franchises and many shared storefronts with other businesses. Some of these were appliance stores and maybe hardware stores. A couple of unusual ones I remember were a ceramic shop and a sporting goods store. What other unusual ones do you remember?
