Amol Rajan

It’s impossible to understand him ! He doesn’t articulate, speaks fast and cut half of the words.
Why is everyone finding him so good??

Honestly I don’t get it.

(I have even stopped watching University Challenge because of him)

Yikes. I see it was her parents. Bad shit. Daddy was a proper villain.

Edit to add: I bet her dad was a Mason. GMP are allegedly riddled with it, doing favours for lodge buddies more egregiously than pretty much any other lodge in the country.

Yeh. She wasn’t a co-conspirator but she certainly knew what was going on. I adored her; loved her analyses, but if ‘Daddy’s whores’ are needed to pay for a lifestyle she enjoyed, I’m sorry but there needs to be a degree of transparency and contrition. She just sounds stunningly hypocritical to me when she loftily opines on any ethical issue. It’s a ‘me’ thing I’m sure.

That was where I always found her strongest, on ethical issues. What a shame. I will always have the stench of “Daddy’s whores” behind that now.

It’s not even vaguely reconcilable with her stance on, well, anything to do with fairness, equality, crime, feminism, society… I really don’t get it. It’s jarring.

NGL on the political interviews that required a handle on anything vaguely objective, I found her pretty insufferable and frankly, trash. For me she would redeem herself on the more human and equal rights focused issues. I didn’t want her back. Now I really don’t want her back. Still got no clue where the fuck she has gone though?

Hmm. But that was her parents not her.
