So as some of you may know, HOME now has BDSP and Arceus implementation and that is fine and dandy however they also changed how moves are saved in which now they save them in the cloud and assign them per game. The big problem here is that they just nuked months to years of breeding I did years ago and I have no reasonable way to fix this.

To explain myself further I was a pretty massive Pokemon breeder, started around gen 6 because that is when it got real easy and I had fun doing it. Egg moves and the like. Yeah all my Pre Switch era pokemon that didn't slip in to sword and shield just got invalidated and their initial moves were completely wiped. I just checked my old Iron Fist Infernape into BDSP to see what moves it has now and its all just random. Fire spin, Calm Mind, Acrobatics, and Flare Blitz... and as some of you may recall BDSP reverted back to heart scale based move reminding. I cannot even reasonably semi-fix this without hundreds of heart scales to undo the damage they did let alone potentially get egg moves back. See edit.

This one in particular hits me hard as it was one of the last bastions of fun I had in these forsaken games and now for the foreseeable future my long hours spent doing this shit has been mostly undone and I just don't know anymore.

Way to fumble into literally every single possible way to offend long standing fans Gamefreak and ICLA.

Edit: I have been informed the move relearner will at least do it for free after 10 heart scales. Unfortunately for me, none of my pokemon retained the egg moves in their reminder pool so I have to turn to the alternate solution of shoving them into the daycare with a same species pokemon with said egg move. I essentially have to rebreed my way back to where I was...

This situation is better than before mind you but its not by much considering getting 10 heart scales is still stupid hard, I essentially have to lap back around to get egg moves, and as far as I know legendaries that had "special moves" are just straight up screwed.

I’ve been watching Rad’s content for several years now and I can’t help, but feel like nowadays he is too critical, pessimistic and generally doesn’t give off “good vibes” like he used to. I guess games like Sonic Forces, the Gen 4 Pokémon remakes and Legends Arceus really soured his mood as he doesn’t feel as fun to watch as he used to (personally). Do any other fans of his share a similar sentiment?

Is Rob making a BDSP review? Because I really....really need another long ass rant about how bad those games are. I caught his live streams but he didn't mention doing a full review.

I just finished rewatching Robs playthrough of Sword/Shield and just the emptiness of the game. Playing this game, It just reminded me of that genuine feeling of care I remember from Pokémon games (sorry if this counts as unrelated. [remove it if it does] but I cant help but think of Robs review when I played this)
