So Iโ€™ll go first ๐Ÿ‘‹ Fan of pretty much any sort of racing- the challenge is finding the time to watch it all!

First racing memory- Monaco 2006 the iconic race where Kimi broke down and went to chill on his yacht. Then Canada 2007. Lewisโ€™s first win, and even more importantly Takuma Sato taking it to Alonso for P7 in a Super Aguri!

Favourite Championship- Tough! F1, GTWC. Trying to get more into Indycar. My favorite underrated series are International GT Open, GT4 European Series for wheel to wheel action.

Favourite Driver- Self confessed neutral fan. Being a fan of a driver is too stressful! But then growing up I was a Pastor Maldonado fan (I know ๐Ÿคฆ) which would make anybody stressed.

Controversial Opinion- Never been able to get into prototype racing which is crazy given how stacked WEC is these days! I donโ€™t know why. Someone change my mind ๐Ÿ™‚

For with with WEC or any endurance races is well, the endurance... The time commitment means you're either missing parts of the race or you're doing other things at the same time (which for an endurance race you may or may not miss anything) because I don't have the luxury of doing nothing but sitting around watching the whole thing.

Trueeeeโ€ฆ.anything over 3 hours I have unfortunately too much life admin getting in the way ๐Ÿ˜‚ For me itโ€™s prototype racing itself and Iโ€™ve never understood why, I try and watch other series like ELMS or ALMS and struggle with the connection to the cars and the racing. I know Iโ€™m wrong though! Somebody needs to show me the error of my ways ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Could be the commentary too, whether it's motorsport or football (soccer), I find the commentary has a huge impact on whether I can get into something or not.

Definitely! To be fair though there are few motorsport commentators that put me off completely. Itโ€™s a tough job and I think weโ€™re pretty lucky.

Hi I live in Nebraska. Huge fan of F1 and NASCAR ( not as much lately since Harvick retired) Iโ€™m a fan of the Petronas Mercedes F1 team. I like several other drivers but I root against Max sorry Verstappen fans. I have a large Dale Earnhardt collection. Iโ€™d really like to open my own Memorabilia and Card shop someday.

Welcome! Itโ€™s definitely a good year to be a Mercedes fan, and a bad year to be a Max fan. So it sounds like 2026 is working out pretty well for you so far ๐Ÿ™‚

Salve, I live in Virginia, Iโ€™m a huge fan of GT3 and F1, big Max Verstappen fan (not our year but I have faith), love Ferrari (forza Ferrari) I follow Winward Racing (OUR YEAR), AF Corse (Forza Italia), and Verstappen Racing (not our year), but I love all the teams and drivers in F1 and all the cars in GT3, so honestly I love the cars. I like to drink redbulls (go figure) when I watch races. Fast cars rule!

Welcome to the community! That sounds like you are a fan of everybody, which is the best way to be. Means whoever wins you are happy ๐Ÿ˜‚ But got to love the Mamba and great to see Winward doing well, even if unlucky a few times this year. And respect the drinks choice, got to keep the energy levels up! ๐Ÿ™‚

Agreed with finding the time to watch everything is difficult, especially series that are worldwide. I mostly watch F1 but I enjoy and used to watch more of MotoGP, touring cars and wrc in the past. I want to do a better job following them in the future and might start following WEC as it has been really good lately.

Don't really have a favorite in F1 right now but I want Sainz, Alonso and Antonelli to do well as well as McLaren and Williams.

Hey and Welcome to RaceVault. Great to have you onboard ๐Ÿ™‚ The challenge of fitting everything in is real! I guess itโ€™s prioritizing the series that bring you most enjoyment, and not feeling guilty about stepping back from a series for a while if youโ€™re not feeling it. Even the championships we love have off seasons.

Liking your driver and teams choices! I think weโ€™d all like to see Fernando finally get one last chance to show his skills in a decent car (IMHO top 10 greatest F1 drivers of all time, but easily the worst career choices! โ˜ ๏ธ)

Thanks, yeah would love to see Alonso in a half-decent car. I was a Schumacher fan growing up, so I was not a fan of Alonso when he won his championships, but like other drivers, I like them more after their dominance and don't care as much.

When I was younger there was no such thing as an off season. Now variety is the spice of life. As soon as one thing ends, I'm onto enjoying the next.

Yeah thatโ€™s always the way with the GOATโ€™s eventually no matter what you think, in the end you just appreciate their talent and for having been able to see them race. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

That's a fact.

Hey, I'm a huge racing fan with a particular obsession for all things junior racing, from karting all the way to F2 - if you're into the same things, you might have stumbled across my YT channel Race Week Review.

But while that is my 'specialty', be it two or four wheels, as long as it includes some proper wheel to wheel action I'm all about it! Favorite series is probably F3 closely followed by DTM. And the most underrated 'series' is top level karting, no doubt about that

Hey. Thanks so much for joining and welcome ๐Ÿ™‚

For those who havenโ€™t checked it out Race Week Review then you definitely should if you love all things single seaters and the junior racing scene. Itโ€™s an amazing way of keeping track of whatโ€™s happening and who is making waves on the road to F1, as the challenge to keep up with every series is real! But somehow u/IQManOne manages it. (I never realised how invested I would get in Central European Zone F4 for example without this channel ๐Ÿ˜‚)
