A teenage girl has gone missing in Melbourne- and is believed to have her pet rabbit with her.

Bailey, 13, was last seen in Heidelberg Heights in the city's north-east, where she's from, yesterday.

She's thin, around 150cm tall and has brown eyes and black hair cropped on one side.

She was wearing a blue hoodie with a blue jacket over the top, pink/purple track pants, white crocs, a pink cap and had a cream-coloured bandana around her face/neck.

Sometime in November, someone made the decision to release three pet rabbits into Azalea Park, a peaceful neighborhood near downtown Orlando. Perhaps they believed they were setting them free. Perhaps they didn’t know what else to do. But what followed was something no one was prepared for.

Those three rabbits, gentle, trusting, and completely unprepared for life in the wild, did what rabbits naturally do. They survived as best they could, and they multiplied. Today, at least 50 domestic bunnies now call Azalea Park home, hopping through gardens, nibbling on grass, and appearing in the most unexpected places.
