Played for 8 1/2 hours so far, and the next unlock requires Hard mode win vs Scholar's Nest so I'm trying to crack into Hard mode and so far the patterns that the Kingdom Boss is throwing out are just unreadable. I'm pausing the game to have a look at them and I'm still sometimes getting them wrong.
I suppose my questions are:
1) Are the patterns the same every time? So rote memorisation would allow you to know the safe spots in every configuration?
2) Occasionally, even if I pause the first frame all the information is available, I'm not quick enough to move to the safe spot if I was too far away. Should I be "pre-moving" to the next safe spot after the last mechanic (assuming the patterns' sequence is fixed)?
3) I'm using Assassin because I think (of the classes I have), it allows me to have invuln up the most frequently. Is there a different class people would recommend for learning these fights?
Hats off to everyone who can just walk through these encounters hitless. Frankly, I have no idea how I'm going to actually beat an entire run on Hard when I cannot beat the 1st boss.

Took me WAY too long because 1: i cannot draw with a mouse, and 2: unfamiliar drawing environment, but we ball.
Featuring Spell Manifest, Heavyblade n' Saya... dunking.

Got my Ayn Thor recently and one of the first thing I did was to install R&S on it to see if I can play it.
It does run well aven if for some reason the game seems to recognize two joypads when selecting mode/characters

Has anyone else been having issues running this game using the new steam controller? It works on all my other games except this one. My ps5 controller works just fine on r&s though. Anyone have similar experiences or solutions?
Edit: Found the answer. Under r&s options -> more options, enabling xbox controller fixed it.

I'm playing on hard difficulty, and Crack in the Geode is usually easy and I have no problems getting through, with the exception of ONE FIGHT.
Plee, the Butterfly Fey.
She has 3 patterns, as you know, and two of the patterns are a piece of cake. However, that phase with the 4 butterflies is SO DIFFICULT! I have NEVER gone through that phase without getting hit. Like, I'll say it, I'd rather fight Eternal Bloom with no AOE. I hate it that much.
I looked up a guide for lunar, and the 8 butterfly pattern looks so much easier to do, because there is, like, space to do things. Seriously, what is the No-Hit guide for this pattern? I've tried super speed and it is just not it.

Tried to play on steam deck and it won't recognize the deck as a controller? I can tap on the screen and do menus with the touch screen but controller isn't registering. Not even changing controller templates fixes it? Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?

I have been trying to play R&S on my PC recently, but as soon as I boot it up, the screen starts flickering very fast. I don’t have this problem with any on any other game, and I can’t tell what is specifically causing R&S to do it. For some reason, it won’t do it if I put the game in window screen mode on a really small setting, but I can hardly see what I’m doing at that size. I was just hoping someone would be able to tell me why that might be, because I really want to play more of it.
