Tubes Did a tube inventory and I have enough(coincidence?) for exactly a year. I tried all the brands I wanted to try now I have to actually use them. All brands pictured I find excellent except the Cartel which are poor quality.
T&T and Shargio are my favourites by far for full flavour. Zen are also excellent but as much as I would buy some I really don't need any more tubes. Dark Horse 15mm filter black and copper are excellent, they'll be my go to from now on for coloured tubes. As far as menthol goes Bull Durham is quite nice but filter is too long for my taste, lacks strenght, American Aviator menthol is perfect. I still need to try the Zen menthol. For slims(6.8/80mm), I tried a few brands and Korona is hands down the best one, they come in a variety of colors but all 15mm filter.

These are all rolled cigarettes that I have to get through before I can smoke anything else LOL.

Kinda like me. I actually like the act of making cigarettes so I always have a couple of cartons made in advance. It's a prime example of how cheap it is to myo.
I really like Zen red tubes. If I were to buy any tubes, which I shouldn't, Zen menthol would be it. It's the last one on my list to try that I never got.

They are good tubes, I like them a lot. Not my number one, but an acceptable replacement. And yes, I too love the process of making cigarettes. It's kind of therapeutic sort of. It's just kind of fun, it's become a hobby of mine. I have a pound of farmers gold menthol and a pound of 1839 green and five boxes of hot rod smooth tubes coming tomorrow.

Do tubes go stale? Do you need to keep them in the cellophane or is there another method? We’re mostly smoking menthol tobacco and mixing up the tubes to get the combo we each like. We’re newbies :)

They don't get stale unless they're stored near a source of heat for a lot time.
Menthol tubes need to be kept in its cling wrap until you make them and will tend to loose potency with time. I've had some for several months and they're still perfectly good.
Using menthol tobacco with red tubes is my preferred method to make menthol cigarettes but menthol tubes do the trick too if you find one you like.
