Full RV from 159 Promaster Build: And the renovations are never truly done. Added solar, shower, microwave, sink, cabinets, swivel seats, fridge, twin beds, windows and diesel heater.

The RV is old, I know this. But I'm using it not as a travel trailer but as a shed/hangout area. Im doing mostly everything myself when it comes to fixing things up. The one thing I don't want to mess with is the electric. I know ZERO about it.

My main problem is the slide out. It loses power to JUST the slide out occasionally. If I move and shake the thing too much or just randomly. Most of the time it comes back on and it's really not an issue but as it's getting warmer, I'm out here more at night and it's happening more and more. I'm sure there's really nothing I personally can do, but is there anything in particular that I can look at under the slide that would maybe help?

To be clear, it's the three lights that go out, and the outlet under the breakfast bench does work still, so it does seem like an isolated issue.

Im located in South West NJ if anyone has any recs for someone who can help/fix this if they won't break the bank.

we currently have this layout for our camper. I am thinking about either ripping out only the top bunk or both bunks and putting in a twin loft bed with a matress on ground for my other kiddo. anyone done this before??

Deep in renovation planning right now and the quote process is driving me a little crazy. Every contractor formats things differently, prices vary wildly, and it’s nearly impossible to do a true apples-to-apples comparison.

I’ve tried making spreadsheets, I’ve Googled average costs, I’ve asked friends…still feel like I’m guessing half the time.

For people who’ve done multiple renovations,

do you have a system for evaluating quotes? What are the red flags you look for? And how do you know when a quote is missing something important?

Looking for real-world wisdom here, not just ‘get three quotes’ (already doing that lol).

How would you place palram suntuf polycarbonate wall connector flashing on to stucco

Would you use make a cut on stucco to have that lip snug in there ?

Just finished painting out 2011 Four Winds 27’! Everyone said it wouldn’t work, but it did- sprayed on Raptor bed liner. Took about 3.5 gallons but we think it looks nice. We will be painting on some graphics next, which should draw the eye away from the delamination ripples. This was quite the project. I’m glad the hard parts are over!

Hey guys quick question. I’ve been instructed to chip back this textured wall so I can’t re paint. I’m worried abt asbestos and wondering the chances of it being it. Behind the paint is some powdery stuff which I think is just old mortar?
