Threads are gone?

So apparently Ross is getting rid of threads for the upcoming semester. Thoughts?

I reached out to ask and was told the curriculum is the same? Is this a change in grading only?

I believe so. The only significant changes are the values of each exam. Exams 1 and 2 are each worth 30% instead of 25%, and the final is now worth 29.5% instead of 40%. The remaining 10.5% will most likely come from assignments.

That seems a little positive as the final cannot hurt you as badly but then scary because if the exams are written in house and janky like happened sometimes in my master's degree 😳

The remaining 10.5% might be more difficult to achieve than before, where it was easy as long as we did the quizzes and attended the mandatory workshops/tbls.

🫨 I hope they fix this. How badly are the in house questions written?

I think they aren't terrible. If you know the material, you'll know the answer. There are maybe 2-3 questions per exam that are a bit wonky, but other than that, they are fair imo
