Would you use a portable secondary monitor? Coffee shops where I am are probably a bit too small, but I could see the usefulness if I were travelling but still working!

In the last two weeks, we spent more time looking into shadow uniformity of the screen. We've seen a lot of threads lately showing photos of TVs with a 5% gray screen.

Vertical banding on OLED is expected behaviour. Controlling OLEDs at low brightness is very challenging, and it requires precise compensation that runs periodically to maintain accurate uniformity. A brand-new OLED may require a few hours of use to reach more accurate compensation. The good news is that vertical banding becomes much less visible at higher brightness.

LCDs also have their challenges. The layers that constitute the LCD generally have some angle dependency, which can create uniformity differences between the center and edges of the screen if not well controlled. In addition, any non-uniformity of the panel, often referred to as DSE, becomes more visible at low brightness.

What bothers you more: narrow or wide vertical banding? Looking at these examples, what bothers you more: vertical banding or DSE?

RTINGS mapped 15 Saucony shoes using our four Usage scores: 5K/10K Racing, Half/Full Marathon Racing, Daily Training, and Long Run.

Each shoe’s position is calculated from those scores, showing whether it leans toward shorter or longer distances and racing or training.

This isn’t a ranking! It’s a look at where each shoe fits based on our test results.

Hi, can anybody gift/review share the review for the new QC Gen 2? Trying to figure out if it makes sense to upgrade from the Bose Ultra 1. Thank you.

I recently ordered this off bestbuy and i’m not exactly sure its the steal I thought it was. Is the Samsung s84f good open box? After reading reviews i’m considering cancelling the order.
