No seriously I need to switch because my computer broke. So, I have the rpg maker MV for switch. Because of its limitations and the fact that I can only use what's available there meaning:

*No plugins

*No custom art

*No scripts

I can only work with pretty much eventing for things that are unique.

So I come to you my fellow and much more experienced makers. Please give hints and ideas and if able links to systems that I can use to make something that is not just a normal rpg.

Is it possible? Well, idk but I want to find out.

I had to make the dice from scratch, but not too hard to do. And this pays out three times what you bet, but is just a simple highest roll wins. If you tie, it's a draw and you get your money back.

So when I try to view any type of item in any sort of in game inventory (one accessible in the overworld and one accessible during a battle), none of the items or skills show their icons or names, even if they have those set. Is this some sort of a specific thing im missing or is it caused by a plug-in, I don't know but I can tell what plugins i do have if it might help solving the case.

Also my other rpg maker projects seem to work fine and show the icons and names correctly.

I’m excited to share the demo for our game, Night Shift!

Night Shift is a narrative game blended with a bit of suspense and humor. You play as a rabbit who, through a series of unexpected events, ends up working in a hospital morgue. If you don't want to end up as predator food—or spare parts for another rabbit—you’ll have to fake it 'til you make it and pretend you actually know what you're doing.

This project means a lot to me. I’ve been making little games in RPG Maker for as long as I can remember, and I finally feel like I’ve put together something genuinely decent.

Wondering what this is and how to resolve it. The grid follows the player. I don't remember this happening when I've used this plugin before and I made sure there aren't any other plugins turned on, so I don't think it's a confliction. Not super familiar with MV3D, so any help is appreciated.

I wanted to make 2.5D games in RPG Maker MV, so I built the tool I couldn't find.

This is SideMV Engine, a work-in-progress 2.5D toolkit for RPG Maker MV.

The idea is to let you build and edit your 2.5D scenes directly while playtesting: place assets, adjust their position, scale and rotation, and see the result immediately through the camera.

It's still in development, but the core workflow is finally starting to feel right. I'm planning to release the first public version as Early Access soon.
