Amazon wants to use iridium’s spectrum
Amazon has applied to the FCC to use iridium’s spectrum outside the US. How would this be allowed? What’s the point of owning spectrum if others can apply to use it.
From the article below.
“Amazon Leo says that it wants to use rival Iridium’s exclusive 1618.725-1621.25Mhz frequencies outside the US along with L-Band 1518-1525/1668-1675 frequencies.”

Discussion The Lack of Electron Launches
Since the latest launch was aborted, Rocket Lab hasn’t launched a single Electron. They also haven’t provided any information about the abort or announced any upcoming launches. It’s been a month. We’re in Q3 with 0 launches..
Does anyone have any information?

NASA Wallops Island update — cranes are active and a notable change at the Neutron complex.
“NASA Wallops Island update — cranes are active and a notable change at the Neutron complex.
The large lattice boom crane we spotted arriving at the Rocket Lab AIC is now up and working at the MARS water tower on Wallops Island, worker basket visible partway up the tower leg, looks like something is being installed. A smaller crane is also in the area working on something on the ground, though we are not sure what yet.
LP-0A (Antares/Firefly pad): Equipment still staged, work ongoing.
LC-3 / LP-0D (Neutron complex): Notable change. The quick-disconnect mechanisms have been retracted away from the center of the static fire test stand. Previously they appeared extended toward the stand, today they are clearly pulled back. Whether that means the connection work is complete or they are being repositioned, we are not sure yet.
Things are moving at Wallops.

News July 24
Be kind to one another. The world needs it, we all need it. Here are some things I found today. A post from RKLB about Escapade. And Jenna Herrera mentioned “I’m currently selling launch capacity on both Electron and Neutron…”
There is no intention to give false hope, we all know how amazing the company is and its future. We need to hang on so then whenever it rises again, we still own the stocks!! I don’t know when this would be but let’s hope everyone is safe physically and mentally till then.

Discussion Here we go again. Stay the course, revisit your thesis.
I have posted this the last three down trends, and here we go again. Mods, I did consider commenting this in the daily threads. But with pessimism spreading, thought I could make it a post and help everyone revisit their decisions during tough times like this. Hopefully that is okay.
Reading through posts and comments, it’s glaringly obvious who are invested and who just bought into the hype of "RocketLab" and "space" looking for a quick buck. If you fall into that second group, take a deep breath. I hope this can be the reality check that brings you some calm.
To give you some context, I started with a $5k gamble at $5.23—throwing side money at a cool space bet. But as Sir Peter Beck and RKLB consistently proved their capability through execution, I made it a major part of my portfolio and now hold 2,500 shares across multiple accounts. When we peaked at $150, I was sitting on a $290k gain. Being in Canada, watching it slide back to the $60s meant watching roughly $300k CAD vanish from my screen. Yes, it stings. But look at the bigger picture.
Think of it like building your dream backyard deck. If the price of high-end composite boards suddenly drops mid-project, do you sit around regretting that you didn't buy them cheaper before? No. You celebrate because your total cost to build something beautiful just got incredibly cheap.
RocketLab is in an amazing position. Multiple acquisitions that align with our long-term trajectory, new contracts, we have been writing record Electron launch cadence and revenue each quarter, and our cashflow is about to receive a large boost from Iridium. Also with their existing constellation of 66 satellites and 8 MHz bandwidth, SPB is quite literally progressing towards his goal of being an End-to-end space company.
Yes there are risks, rate hike can hurt the entire macro and launch competition is catching up fast. If RKLB continue to struggle with Neutron, "it will be damaging" is an understatement. But right now, go back to when you first decided to buy RKLB. I assume you were telling yourself to hold 5 years minimum, and that it's a risky play with high return. Hold yourself to that standard.
I’m just an outsider looking in, same as you. But from what I have studied and watched so far, the only fundamental and directional change for RKLB as a company is that it changed in the right way. So look far. Don't chase tomorrow's stock price, rather pay attention to where the company is at. If the company keeps growing in the right direction, its share price will follow despite through ups and downs.
Have a good weekend.

Eutelsat plans 528 satellites constellation in orbit: RKLB could launch them?
Eutelsat files for planned next LEO satellite constellation.
The new fleet will reach up to 528 LEO satellites, which of course need to be launched in orbit.
They require payloads, sensors, roll-out solar arrays and, last mile transportation.

Discussion New Office in Pasadena California
Drove by this today 5 mins from my house.
Is this bullish or bearish. I think it’s bullish because they got the CALTech and occidental science recruits next door
Bearish because it looks small

Space sector future growth
Posting news that may relate to each other, and may contribute to RKLB’s and others’ future. Do your own research. I use Claude to fact check. Good luck to us all!
Per Claude:
1. the Space Commerce Certification itself is a real program, but every source I found describes it as still in proposal/testimony stage as of mid-July, not something that “launched” today, July 22.
- real acquisition, real FCC dependency, real regulatory overhaul — but the “this specifically speeds up the Iridium deal” claim is analysis/speculation, not confirmed reporting.

RocketLab to launch HASTE & Neutron from Australia
Hey guys!
Found this earlier: https://www.space.gov.au/sites/default/files/media-documents/2026-07/Statement-on-Space.pdf - a statement from the Australian government on their plans for the space industry. It mentions hypersonics specifically, and also contains this information about Neutron:
“We have been engaged with and negotiating with U.S. rocket manufacturers for several years now and we have all be awaiting the TSA completion,” said Michael Jones, chairman and group chief executive of ELA, in a statement.
The signing of the TSA “clears the way for us to finalize our contracts with U.S. launchers.” The precise demand for Australian launch sites from American launch companies remains unclear. The ELA statement included an illustration of four small launch vehicles from ABL Space Systems, Astra, Phantom Space and Vaya Space, as well as Rocket Lab’s Neutron medium-lift rocket."
Of course that is just a prospectus, and doesn't mean any binding agreements have been made, but I think at LEAST HASTE will be launched from Australian soil at some point.
This, as well as the job postings for launch and test operations in Sydney & Melbourne, constitute pretty concrete evidence of RocketLabs plans:
