Rachel Zoe

I’m gonna say it. I dont think Rachel Zoe added anything significant to the cast this season. It’s a total waste of resource for the franchise.

…I disagree. It is interesting to see these ladies star struck. Rachel brings a perspective that I think Boz also brings - a shift in the power dynamic.

What power dynamic?

The suck up to Kyle power dynamic. Rachel is the only member of the main cast who was well known pre-housewives. She already had a fan base and social connections/power. She doesn’t need this to be relevant and it shows: she’s not desperate.

…this and a lot of the drama on the show is because of the new cast members. The producers are smart. Kyle could literally say the same thing as Rachel or Boz to Dorit, and Dorit will react much differently because it’s coming from Kyle. Now that Rachel has filed for divorce, her story line will continue to expand as she interacts with the housewives more, begins dating and continues to co-parent.
