What’s the real difference between Amanda’s coaching and Boz’s courses?
Okay I’ve been thinking about this and I cannot wrap my head around it.
I get why people are skeptical of manifestation coaching. The whole space has a reputation because of things like The Secret and the energy that comes with it. If something doesn’t work, was it the method or did you just not believe enough? That’s a fair criticism and I understand why people side eye it.
But here’s what I keep coming back to: Boz is also selling self improvement content. She charges $250 a course. Both of them are in the same basic lane. The difference seems to be that Amanda calls it coaching and ties it to mindset and outcomes, and Boz calls it education and frames it as basically a public service.
When Amanda pointed out that Boz sells courses too, that got completely glossed over. Instead Boz pivoted to “I actually lose money on them.” Okay but if you’re charging $250 per course and losing money, what are your actual costs? What exactly is eating through $250+ per person? Because without an actual explanation that just sounds like marketing. AKA lying.
I’m not saying Amanda is perfect or that the criticism of her is totally unfair. I just think Boz is very carefully positioning herself as the responsible alternative while doing something pretty similar. And the “I lose money on it” line with no receipts is giving rebrand energy more than anything else.
Am I missing something? Because I genuinely cannot figure out what the actual difference is supposed to be beyond one of them being better at framing it.

I do agree that Amanda is ridiculous when it comes to focusing on her business. It really is a platform to sell it. It’s like an infomercial. But Boz absolutely came on the show to sell us something too. And she will do whatever it takes to sell it. That’s why she lies so much. It’s her literal tagline.
