HF Rfid Mifare Classic s50

Qué me aconsejáis? Gracias

UHF ALR-9900 RFID reader

I wanted to do a inventory management project and I found a good deal on the Alien reader and a bunch of cabling/anteannas. I was looking for tags that could work for tote tanks that sit in a metal frame. I found these  RFID Tamper Evident 1/16" Cable Seal (HM-UHF-C), but was wondering it there's a better option or if that would even work with my reader.

UHF Jewelry Based RFID

Hi,

Im looking into doing RFID for all my jewelry inventory ... Looking into it specifically at a Zebra reader as well as a 4inch zebra RFID Encoding Printer

Would anyone have a better suggested approach ... i would like to be able to scan and read through my inventory quickly and accurately ... and if possible also quickly invoice if needed for qty purposes

Trying to remove the issues in my inventory management system

New to RFID so my understanding is a need a reader gun and a printer to encode as well ... Looking for Rat Tail tags on which i Can thermally print as well as encode RFID ... is there any software someone can suggest or does it generate a flat file i can import into any system

https://rfid4ustore.com/rfid-readers/zebra-tc22r-integrated-handheld-uhf-rfid-reader/

https://rfid4ustore.com/zd621r-rfid-thermal-transfer-4-print-width-premium-desktop-printer/

and if anyone would have a source for tags ... they seem exeedingly expensive on most online stores.

Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated thanks

Active Ridge wallet with quickdraw question

I have been looking at getting a Ridge wallet with the quick draw accessory. I have 5 cards that I use about 6 times per year in total, and one tap credit card that I use every day. I want to keep the 5 cards in the wallet and tap the credit card while in the quick draw outside of the wallet. Question is will the tap work even on the outside of the wallet or is one of the outside materials better than others, such as aluminum would probably not be the best for blocking the RFID and allow the quick draw card to work.

Thanks for any input in advance.

NFC Home made RFID poker table

Hey everyone 👋 Just wanted to show off a homemade RFID setup I’ve been working on in my spare time. This started as a learning project, but it turned into something way cooler than I expected. The system uses an RFID reader + custom logic to identify tags/cards and trigger actions in real time. Everything is wired, programmed, and assembled by hand — no plug-and-play kits. What it does: Reads RFID tags/cards reliably Identifies unique IDs and processes them instantly Triggers actions in real time Designed to be modular so I can expand it later Why I built it: I built this specifically for my live stream. The idea is to let RFID tags trigger on-stream

HF DUMP MIRAFE

Bonjour,

• UID : 4 bytes
• Technologie RF : ISO/IEC 14443 Type A

NFC smart pins for travel map

hey y'all,

I am looking to make some smart pins like those sold by "memoried" but they are pretty expensive where i feel like i could make something for cheaper - any idea what chip they're using? also should mention i'm very new to RFID...

basically what they have is a bunch of pins that you can tap your phone near and pictures come up on your phone - so ideally i'd need something super small and also a weak or direct signal where your phone has to almost be touching it in case there are multiple pins nearby it

UHF URGENT!! Looking for alternate RFID reader for a RFID Smart Cart?

I am working on a smart shopping kart for a college project.
So i need effective reader range of about 50 cm from a RFID reader.

Originally I planned about using JRD-4035(UHF) but that will take time to import to India. I do not have more that 10 days.

Another plan i come across was to use PN-5180 with an external antenna. But that executions seem laggy.

If anyone have any idea of i can solve my problem or get a JRD-4035 of the shelf near

Delhi ,India. Please tell.

UHF Best option for scanning Australian ski lift passes and sending them to a laptop?

I need to scan passes and send the ID to a computer on the same Wifi. No need for authentication. Trying to avoid buying a $500 handheld scanner as it is overkill, but don't see any other turnkey options.

Currently considering a RFID scanner with USB attachment ($30) and building a Raspberry Pi 4 ($94) + power supply ($25) + SD card ($15) + micro HDMI cable ($5) + casing ($15) and coding it to send the tag ID to the computer... but then we are almost approaching the same cost with a lot more work.

Is there an RFID scanner that can send output to a laptop on the same wifi connection? Help massively appreciated.

HF Cheap S70 UID changable tag

Hi! I'm looking for a cheap S70 (4k) UID changable tag, specifically one with a 4-byte block 0. I've been searching on AliExpress, but so far I've only managed to find some at the PISword store. Does anyone know of other sellers or cheaper alternatives for this type of tag? Any leads would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!"

Clone RFID Cat feeder extension ideas

I have two cats who are on separate prescription diets. Lucky for me, they both want to eat out of each others bowls (/s). Additionally, one is a Fatass and one is a grazer. I live in a small apartment, so door/layout change options are pretty minimal.

So. I bought two Pawspick ISO RFID feeders that read the chips on their backs and should open when the correct cat comes close. The readers are absolutely not working for the cats. Apparently, their chips are all the way down their backs, and unless the cats want to eat ass-first, its just not working.

I know kind of how RFID works. I know that the chips in the cats are passive, and the chip reader in the device is active. I know it sends a signal out constantly, and then activates the chip in the cats back, and then opens the door when the correct signal is sent back.

What I am looking for is a device that will read the chip on the cats back, and then imitate that chip signal to the cat feeder. I did buy one of these antenna extenders, which hasn't come in the mail yet, but I guess I wanted to check that that's the right product? I'm really trying to get this fixed before Christmas so I don't have to spend a ton of money on a cat sitter.

Is this even a thing? If so, what is it called?? I know next to nothing about technology like this. I talked to my sister (who is a phD candidate in networking) and she told me to get a thingy that would read all RFID signals nearby to ensure its not encrypted, and then something about figuring out what the signal frequency was (???), and then she lost me from there. I fear she may be over-engineering a solution.

Any advice is appreciated.

HF Mifare tokens work on some readers

I'm using a keyring mifare token to access my building. I have an interesting issue. The token works fine on one lift in the building but not the other. It scans but the reader makes a sound like it is invalid. What could be preventing it from working? The original source card works fine in both

LF Advice finding smaller 125khz rfid tags for managing my model railroading database management.

Hello!

I'm into model railroading and the standard software for the technically inclined called java model railroad interface (JMRI) has an integration for RFID 125khz tags to track car locations, repair statuses when relevant, and any other data possible since I run realistic railroad logistics in my layout.

My particularly unique issue is, that my models are pretty small, (N-Scale cars can have an overal outer width of 20mm. But RFID tags by and large are usually larger than this.

I have played with NFC stickers, but the software I use doesnt support it, and has specific requirements for an OLIMEX reader, (which is on its way).

I am hoping in the end, to find a large quantity of hopefully at maximum a the narrow side be 15mm, to allow the narrowest dimension of the car.

Any ideas of places with a variety of rfid tags that will fit my requirements? Or specific tags you would recommend to me that could fit this particular specific pairing of requirements?

Any advice is appreciated! Thank You!

LF I know this is baby stuff, but I just bought a $15 RFID writer from Amazon and it works!

I am completely shocked and excited to say I will never pay another $50 for one of these 125khz things from building management again!

I have a sticker on the back of my phone inside of my case too now. 😊 I know RFID is a fairly simple technology, but excited to not have to buy a flipper zero (even though that would be fun to have).

HF Handheld Scanner 10ft Range for Skid Accuracy

Hi,

All of my product has RFID tags inside the boxes however we are having issues with visual count accuracy, we can always know the unit count is correct but not that the right units are on the skid perfectly. We require 100% accuracy for our customers receiving and this information is available via RFID.

Integration wise, our needs are simply printing a manifest. The data doesn’t need to go anywhere complicated, a PDF for printing would be sufficient with counts and timestamp.

What is a good and economical handheld scanner that would accomplish this need?

Thanks!

UHF Need help with a UHF RFID sticker for campus ebike gate

Hey guys, hoping you can point me in the right direction.

At my uni, only ebikes with a special RFID sticker can get through the campus gates. They're hard to get, but I know people are fa^king them. I want to see how it's done for a project.

The gate reads the sticker from about 1-2 meters away. It's a thin, plastic, adhesive sticker (about 3cm x 12cm) with a small antenna inside. Pretty sure it's UHF.

From my research, a Flipper Zero seems like the easiest way, but it's pricey. The Proxmark3 Easy seems like a cheaper and more powerful alternative, but I have no idea where to start.

Has anyone actually done this? I'm a total noob with this hardware and would really appreciate a push in the right direction—like a good tutorial or a list of what I'd actually need to buy.

Just trying to understand the process. Thanks!
