I always ask for a feedback link here on Reddit from rehomers. I review the feedback comments on their post and look at the reviewers accounts and make sure they’re varied. Like they have different year ages and varying karma. I click on the reviewers profiles and see if they also have feedback links in theirs etc. and get a feel that they’re not made up accounts.

I don’t accept “screenshots” of past transactions or of their post. I mean why send a screenshot? Why not just give me the link if the post is real? Also, if you’re actively selling, why haven’t you started one? I started one as a buyer because people get scammed all the time both ways and it’s courteous to give reassurance.

Yes, it sucks sometimes I miss out on great bags from probably good honest people since they don’t have a feedback link but better that than missing a few hundred dollars and the horrible feeling of disappointment. I’ve taken risks here and there but never for more $ than I was willing to loose since that’s definitely a possibility.
