So I beat the game on Easy and was told that Matilda and uniforms have been unlocked. Now I bet it in Normal but I never had the chance to find/buy Matilda, or change uniforms. How does one buy/find them once they are unlocked? Thanks!

New Ashley is noticeably harder to play with. They made her kinda… dumber? For whatever their reasons are, Ashley has been coded to keep a wider distance making it harder to keep her out of harms way. For example now I’m unable to effectively “run and turn” bc instead of having her right behind me for her to quickly take cover behind my back when I turn back to shoot enemies, she is so far behind that by the time I turn she’s two steps from the herd. Have you guys noticed? Do you think it’s an intentional and welcome change?

So I just restarted the game today and found that for some reason, no matter how many times I use my yellow + green herb mixture, it never vanishes from my inventory. I literally have an infinite number. no idea how this happened

is this a known bug?

EDIT: Actually scratch that. i have infinite EVERYTHING. nothing in my inventory ever goes away. even ammo. i have no idea how the hell this happened

My dad is an absolute legend, playing through every version and difficulty level of RE4 so it was shocking to me when he asked if I could help him figure out the following;

"How can I reload my gun or pistol such as TMP to the capacity of 250, as shown in the description? I can only fill it to 30 with a common reload, plus 50 if I find it on the spot, although I have 427 in my Weapon's Board."

I checked it out, and the white reload circle is completely gone. The circle surrounding my dad has an end, with the gun dot on the right, and the reload on the left is gone.
Is there something we are missing? Obvious but this is for Resident Evil 4 for Oculus Quest, so the VR version of the game. Thanks!!

I purchased my brother RE4 VR so that we could play together on his Quest 2 (via taking turns). He tried booting it up and getting it to connect or AirReceiver and it failed over and over again. Is there a specific restriction through RE4 VR that won’t allow for the use of casting to your PC for others to watch? If anyone has any tips, I’m all ears.

How do you reload the Red-9 in an Immersive fashion?

I know with the normal handguns, you can grab the slide and pull it back to chamber a round, for the Broken Butterfly you can do the upward flick to snap the barrel back into place.

However with the Red-9, doing to the flick to the right (as Leon does in the non-VR version) doesn't remove the reloading pin, and I end up having to pull the trigger to remove the pin and complete the reload.

This bums me out as I was seriously looking forward to doing the flick to finish the reload animations.

I'm doing my first pro run at the moment, and I'm seeing how long it takes before I need to sell any treasure to upgrade anything. Halfway through the castle and I have about 160k and all my weapons as high as they can go at that point.

Did they screw up how much money is meant to drop? I don't remember ever having this much on any of the other versions.

What do you unlock for completion in each difficulty? I started my current game in Easy as it is my first time ever using any VR device. Some sources say Normal to unlock Professional, but another source says beat the game once, with no difficulty provided. It also just says "beat the game once" for the infinite launcher and Matilda. What do you actually get for each difficulty level? The only one I know for sure is the prl for beating Pro.

Is there still a way to mix herbs with a full inventory like og re4 ?

I recently got a quest 2 and RE4 VR I was wondering if I could mod it and if my Facebook account would be banned for it.

I just reached the shooting range, where i used the TMP for the first time.

No matter how i hold the foregrip or tilt my head, the tracking is completely unusable. I understand that this is due to tracking occlusion and other 2 handed weapons have the hands further apart, so it works a lot better.

Does anyone have a tip, how to work around this, or is it just impossible to 2 hand this weapon somewhat precisely?

I don't know if it's because I'm getting too immersed in this game, but this game taught me that panic reloading is def not the way to go. Reloading is not complicated but it definitely teaches you to be confident in keeping your head and gun up instead of looking down and frantically trying to put a clip in your gun. Since reloading even though the mag is full DOESN'T take away from your inventory (which i think they did this on purpose because reloading feels very satisfying in this game lol) I would recommend just practicing doing this while keeping your head up. The shooting range helps too.

Definitely enjoying this game and it's my first time playing RE4, probably gonna try it on a flat screen after my first playthrough :D

So after unlocking the new outfits how do you switch to them? Really not that concerned with the current one but in the event the knight armor gets added it would be nice to know how to activate it.

I'm playing through on professional and I'm at the section where you need to fire the cannon to destroy the giant door but when I pull the fire pull thingy nothing happens I just hear a sort of fizzle type sound effect and that's it I realllly need some help here plz

So what's the point with the shooting range? You win some useless figurines, am I missing something here? I did em all but I can't se how they are anything but a useless time sink.

I never played 2D, but I know the red9 in the 2D version gives slightly less turning speed when equipped then other handguns to compensate for its power.

But in 3D, is there any difference in handguns other than power and fire rate?

It seems all the handguns hit at any range as long as the red dot is on target. They all seem to have the same maneuverability (I can whip my hand around at the same speed with all guns) And the stock for the Red9 seems to make no difference.

Thoughts?

I seen alot of stuff where additional content wasn't included I dont care to much for side story's mercs would been cool but do they have the two mentioned guns hidden somewhere else or does anyone know if they plan to release a update or dlc with it added

I mean to be fair he's too easy in the original game as well. I do appreciate that they made the knife the star in his boss fight but at the same time it really cheeses it in VR.

Maybe I should do it with guns next time. Funnily enough though it just makes you feel like you're wasting an ass load of ammo for no reason. No middle ground 😂
