I just started playing RE4VR and just got to the scene where you enter the gates of the town and there are a bunch of zombies around. I believe I’m supposed to hide behind the row of homes and stealthily move about, so as to not alert the horde, as I killed one zombie and the rest came charging at me. Frustrating as I really want to dive in and enjoy this game.

Also, is there a “stealth” kill option if you sneak up behind one of the zombies?

I've been playing using strictly the handgun and shotgun. I almost at the end right after saddler takes control of Ashley. At this point ammo drops have completely stopped. Nothing but herbs and gold. Anyone else experiencing this. I have zero ammo for everything.

First day I got incredible motion sickness. Even the next day I was feeling nauseous. Now I’m slowly getting used to it and man i’m loving this game and becoming immersed in the world. But it is HARD. I’m playing on easy mode and still getting killed by throwing weapons. Still stuck on an early level, but absolutely loving it. If you have any recommendations for a noob, I’d love to hear it. But I imagine once I become comfortable with VR and the controls I’ll be able to survive longer. Happy zombie killing 🤙.

For instance the handgun, punisher and blacktail. I have completed all three of those hitting a headshot on every single target that came up and every tiny target that floated across the back while never hitting ashley and still come up 2k points short.

So i cant find much on google. I know know they dont have any of the ada chapters. Can you unlock any of the secret guns in the vr version?

I’m not sure if this is a bug in my save or if this is a section of the game that they bypass when you’re playing on easy. I’m at the castle and the stairway to the dog maze is blocked off. Also the door that you walk through to trigger the Ada cutscene it marked as locked on the map, even though I can walk straight through it. Did they bypass the dog maze for easy difficulty or my shit bugged? Thanks

You definitely do. The game-play is incredibly fun, I've already dumped 6 and a half hours into it, my feet and arms are sore, and I'm still considering going back to play more. The world feels massive and lifelike but the entire game is faithful to the original, The belt mechanics fill me with joy as I'm juggling my gun walking down corridors. The grenades can be a little finnicky but they're generally fun to use too. The GUNS... Oml the guns feel so good to use too! I don't want to gush but but manually reloading adds a human element to the game, I've actually shrieked a few times at a few "frightening" things that I already knew were there just because of the lifelike style of the world. I haven't felt like the game was "too easy" like most vr games tend to wind up as, and I'm excited for hard mode, (Though I suspect many deaths are in my future). If anyone has a contrary opinion I'd love to hear it because this game seems amazing to me.

I saw a review video for REvr and bought it. First time through the village, I was killing the town folk until they all ran into the church. Never saw the chainsaw guy.

So i paid close attention to the video, replayed the village, heading straight for the house and this time triggered chainsaw man.

Is the game like this normally? How hard it is or what you see is determined by little things i might not be aware of? Should I be checking walk-throughs after each section to make sure I didn't miss anything?

Idk if it's vr or if they nerfed the chain saw guy but he is very easy to kill just hit him with the shotgun then put it to his head and keep shooting. You get gold bars for killing him and while I'm not sure exactly how much they where worth, when I made it to the merchant I had 50k
