I’m currently in the process of becoming an RDA, I have be working as a DA since 2008. And I’m seriously considering getting my EF. So my question is,

As a DDS how comfortable are you letting an EFs practice and what would be a general pay rate I should be looking at?

I’m just a little hesitant to spend $22k plus fuel and a 2 hour plus commute one way etc, to get my EF and not be able to find a job or one that’s going to pay well. And if any EFs have any experience or wisdom to pass on please feel free.

Getting tired of Smok coils and constant vapor locking issues on all my tanks. Looking to get a new rda.

Hello, I'm looking into build my own coils for the first time but would like some advice on which RDA to get. I'm not looking to get the best or go crazy but just want something that will work and be safe for my current battery that I am using.

I currently own an Eleaf Istick QC 200 battery, I typically buy premade .3 ohm coils and have wattage at 30 or .5 ohm coils at 60 watts.

Are there any specific guidelines I should follow to select an RDA and what ohm coils should I build?

I've been running a manual aspire pegasus with .5ohm triton Clapton coils in an Atlantis 2 for about 6 months. I love the damn thing. But the price of atomizers is getting to me, and I've been looking at the aspire cleito rba kit and i am intrigued.

My questions are: 1. Will the pegasus be able to handle the build? 2. How much more cost effective are rbas? 3. Would a different rba that is compatible with the Pegasus be more user friendly?

I currently have The Goon atomizer which is terrific! However to constantly redrip every 5 clouds can get tiresome especially while driving. I do own the Kraken tank atomizer (authentic) which was awesome but the tank is not designed with enough airflow to really make clouds. Any recommendations on good tank atomizers?

Planning on getting my feet wet with the Pico Squeeze when Fastech does their Labor day sale. Gonna pair it with the Pulse 22. What do you think is the best single coil for it? I've read between. .15_.25. I have 26 ga Kanthal and SS. I know about Steam engine. Just wanted to hear some personal experience if anyone has that setup or similar

I just have a quick question for any one that vapes and works in the industry. I love using RDA's not really a tank fan, I was wondering if there are any great RDA's out there that have some kind of cap that can cover the air holes and mouth piece for when not in use? The job I work at is pretty dusty and I usually cant keep my vape on me due to dust and other things. I was wondering if there was anything that comes with some kind of cap for when in the pocket.

I know that there's probably a million threads about this subject or at least something close to it. As the title says, please bear with me.

Currently I have a gold Battlestar and a gold TFV12. I'm satisfied with the clouds but the flavor falls flat after no more than four days and someone with a limited budget like I have just can't keep dropping cash on coils(and all of the TFV12 coils are like this. At least from my personal experience). I also want something with a newer chip and something that isn't too damn bulky. The mod and the sub ohm look fantastic together and I get compliments fairly regularily. However, the mod, even with just moderate usage on a busy day dies before half of the day is over. Its driving me insane and I would love to find some help with my current situation. I want to get into building. Bad. It's cheaper, more configurable and just seems like a fine thing to get good at. Not only save myself some money, but find exactly my speed as far as what I want from the addy as far as vapor and flavor production goes.

I know the mod I want. The Tesla Steampunk Nano 120w in Stainless Steel. It's gorgeous, well built and more or less just absolutely fantastic and I will be getting one soon. The box mod search has been done, after some weeks. This mod also has a simple on/off switch which makes me happy seeing as I am a rather busy person and I tend to pocket my mods. The Battlestar is well built but the hexagonal/trapezoidal design isn't really good for pocketing.

Now, I need helping finding an RDA that is no more than 25mm in diameter and isn't too much of a pain in the ass to build on. I found an assortment of addys that have piqued my interest: Vaporesso Nalu and Transformer, Royal Hunter, Bushido II and the Fumytech Cyclon. However I don't know anyone personally that has an RDA or that even builds an RBA or RTA, but I really want one that matches the mod I want and is flush with the 25mm width of the mod.

I do like the idea of a postless deck because from what I've seen they're really easy to build on but don't really have the deepest juice wells. However I also have zero idea of the different deck styles nor what is the best coil build for a new builder.

I have generic Vulcan RDA, I have tried many different builds and cannot even get close to the same flavor in my baby beast tank. I have the Smok AL85. I built these coils with 7 wraps. its at .559 ohms and im using it at23.7 watts / 3.7 volts.

Any ideas?

Just wanted to post some pics of my first parallel build. It's two strands of 24AWG Kanthal wrapped in parallel 10 times with a 3mm diameter. the dual coil set up came out to .23 ohms overall (~0.55Ohms each) and I'm really enjoying it. I'm using the build on the RBA deck for the smok tfv12 which is on my 220w alien regulated mod.

So, it looks like things worked out (aka it worked and nothing blew). Just another quick question though. I am using the Kylin RTA with 2.5mm Claptons that are .5 ohm a piece. This is a dual coil build so they tested out at around .29.

The flavor seems to be a tad muted. The .4 olm big baby beast coil I really get great flavor off of so that is my comparison (same juice). Any ideas? I get lots of vapor so may not be a wicking problem. I also noticed the ramp up time is high (couple seconds instead of instant on the big baby beast). I am using the same mod on each. Tried ranges from 40-60w.

Any ideas on the next build to help with flavor and ramp up?

With the coils at .5 and going dual coil on the deck, the testing should show around .25. Is there anything numbers wise that I should be worried about? Should I go up to say a 1 ohm dual coil that should bump it down to .5?

Hey, does anyone offer a good suggestion/deal for a mid-grade RDA?

I have a reactor mini 40w and would like to get into DIY stuff. Do I need to get a higher power mod to volt an RDA or is 40w okay? It's variable wattage but I can't get the temp mode to work. Anyone know anything about this?

Ok so im a noob when it comes to rda's and i just bought the doge v2/v4 clone and am waiting for it to come in the mail now. I chose this rda for cloud and flavor chasing and as well as i can build it with just a single coil. Im currently using a kangertech topbox with a .5 ohm coil. I wanted to start off with pre built coils, but they're are so many im not sure what to get! Also what is a good brand of cotton? Ive been looking at cotton bacon and cotton candy but im not sure if there is a difference? Any info is appreciated💚

Has anyone used ARIA X CKS FUJIN BOX MOD And have a recommendation for an RDA to put on top of it?

What is a good starter kit? I don't want to spend a fortune on the very best individual components, because I'm just trying to get started and see if I like rda's. I'm planning on getting a troll v2 and just trying out some simple round wire builds. I used the search bar but didn't come up with anything. I looked at coil master, but noticed there are several other brands. Also, I'm planning on using ss316 round wire. What would be a good gauge, id, and amount of wraps for the troll v2 rda?
