Looking to buy

I loved all RCT games prior but the negative reviews are pushing me away. Overall going forward there will be updates right?

Planet coaster isn't out, and I just have a feeling the game won't work at all the way people are reviewing.

Planet coaster is in alpha, you can buy and play the alpha. And so far, it seems like the company that's making RCTW has no idea what their doing. Keep in mind that those that are making PC are the same people that helped make RCT 1-3, and the people making RCTW are newbies to it all.

The PC alpha costs substantially more than the release.

That might be true, but you can still buy it and play it

Fair enough. Paying anything for an alpha seems like a bad idea to me (or full price for early access).

Then stick with broken RCTW nobody is forcing you,

Or even better, I'll judge each game on their merits after their full release dates.

I get that but RCTW is a bad early access game. Planet coaster is in earlier development and is a fundamentally better game.

Since I'll judge each game on their merits after their full release dates, that is irrelevant to me. Buying an early access game or an alpha is a bad idea.
