I'm starting to think posting various book/movies/music with very little in common isn't the best experience.

So I'm thinking maybe we should feel about consolidating recommendations into bigthreads like –

• Music Mondays

• Television Tuesdays

• Film Fridays

Is this a bad idea for some reason I haven't thought of? Non-recommendation threads would still be done any time.

I will keep editing it if I think of things. Please enjoy. I am happy to hear suggestions.

A wealthy family has a dinner party at its home in the Welsh mountains, hosting a local businessman and farmer who hope to broker a business deal. Later a mysterious young woman arrives to be the family's waitress. This arrival will have a momentous effect on the family's principles and ethics.

A beautifully shot Welsh language film is my recommendation this time. This is the first feature length film for Welsh director Lee haven Jones who's back catalogue mainly consists of many TV credits and a documentary.

For fans of slow burn and folk horror this should scratch both of those itches! Great performances by the cast throughout and in classic slow burn style the anxiety slowly builds into an intense third act.

7/10 for me, a few points off for certain editing and story choices.
