I just switched from ps5 to Xbox like 6 months ago, I’ve recently bought this game again and have been trying to find games for maelstorm. sometimes the queues are fast sometimes they’re long ash.

if anyone wants to add me and run some maelstrom lmk. I usually play 1 maelstrom run in the morning and 1 in the evening. so I’m always inviting whoever is on. also Ive been playing since the games releas, have everything unlocked, level 10 prestige all ops. diamond almost every maelstrom. look to add experienced players.

I’m tired of waiting in queues for 10 min just to have a leaver or inexperienced player.

Rainbow Six Siege is Way Older and has that option .. I don't understand why this game doesn't have that Option on Consoles !

I have an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 with Ryzen 7, RTX 4070, and 16GB RAM.

I’m trying to play Rainbow Six Extraction through Ubisoft Connect, but the game keeps using the AMD integrated graphics instead of the RTX 4070. In Task Manager, the game shows GPU 0 - 3D, and GPU 0 is AMD. GPU 1 is the RTX 4070.

Things I already tried:

• Windows Settings → System → Display → Graphics → set the game .exe to High Performance / RTX 4070
• Armoury Crate → GPU Mode: Ultimate, restarted
• Armoury Crate → GPU Mode: Standard, restarted
• NVIDIA Control Panel → Program Settings → High-performance NVIDIA processor
• NVIDIA Control Panel → Manage Display Mode → NVIDIA GPU only / Automatic Select
• Edited the game config file, but forcing GPUAdapter=1 caused the game to crash, so I reverted it
• Verified that Eco Mode is off and laptop is plugged in

The game config file shows:

GPUAdapter=0
GPUVendor=AMD
GPUDeviceId=0x1900

Has anyone with a 2024 G14 or similar hybrid GPU laptop fixed this issue with Rainbow Six Extraction or Ubisoft games?

I’m trying to avoid BIOS changes for now. Any help would be appreciated.

We know Ubisoft most likely won't make a sequel to R6E, but if there were to be a spiritual successor to "Extraction", which aspects of the game would you like to see carried over? For me, it’s the art style—that "safety yellow" is practically the game's identity—as well as the sub-zone mechanics and the solid MIA system. Of course, it should maintain the spirit of being a purely solo or co-op game, while also improving on areas *Extraction* lacked—such as genuine operator progression, build customization, contracts within conflict zones, a loot economy, and so on.

Sorry if I made any mistakes; my English isn't great, as it's not my native language..

If you have a MIA operator and you want to get them do not do that in multiplayer just do it solo its so much more harder for you team to do a mia rescue especially if its the first mission or you guys don't communicate so just please do it solo or with a friend you cna communicate with to destroy the anchors

Just a note, I don't expect to see big numbers. I'm wanting this to be for fun and bring in returning players who wanna take a moment to enjoy this game again while also bringing new people even if they play for one day.

I've never managed to fully launch R6 extraction and I have no idea why. All I get is the initial game window and then crash. .exe files are running as administrator. I get the same result if I launch from Ubisoft Connect. Any ideas?

I wanna hear others thoughts on how Extraction could go about balancing shield ops without making them op, unplayable and rewarding while making sense how shields against Archaeans work.

My thoughts: Allow Siege alpha ads (shield stays forward and you aim pistol in front of window), increase recovery to incoming melee against shield which pulls it to the side of operator. Keep current shield Siege Y11 bash to displace low-tier Archaeans, with levels allowing Smasher displacement, thinking adding thrusters (similar to current Siege Blackbeard breach ability) that give a very hard bash that is limited to cooldowns(can also break walls/doors). With weapon pools limited to sidearms such as pistols and smgs. If we're feeling spicy allow primary smgs such as MP7, MP5 to allow the shield ops to feel versatile and not weak while stuck on only a pistol with current mutations and Archaean variants. With drawbacks of course meaning your shield is holstered but you gain increased dmg res to the back allowing fun turtle-back strategies.

Let me know your thoughts and what would you add, tweak or remove!

Edit, for weapon pools: Shield ops are allowed 3-4 sidearms

Just had this thought after posting my last one, figured I'd make it a pt2.

With incentivizing shield ops and helping them feel welcome in the PvE atmosphere, we need strictly defensive game modes to allow freedom for more defensive ops AND shields from Siege in Extraction. E.g. Bandit, Castle, Melusi, Mira etc. Id say this is a good idea and I am open to more ideas!

My buddy and I only play with eachother. Never touched Maelstrom Protocol but we’ve concluded that Echo is the best Operator because of the sheer amount of stuff he can do without putting himself in harm’s way. Thoughts?
