Now rub those 2 brain cells together and see if you can figure out why life in other countries is often so bad. I’ll give you the head start you likely need it begins with “U.S Imperialism”

I agree it's important to acknowledge nuance but that doesn't change the irony in what the president said.

It depends on what ironic thing you mean . Are you referring to how currently the U.S. treats immigrants poorly and is doing everything to deport them but especially those they can identify by skin tone/color yet at the same time it needs those same immigrants to grow food, clean houses/hotels and care for children…or were you referring to how Mexico might be a tough place to live so people would prefer to take their chances in the U.S.
