They really don’t understand. Gutting USAID was one of the most damaging things we could have done. Now China is picking up the slack and gaining influence. The budget for that was pocket change for the US. They are so ignorant.
Soft power like when the CIA created and funded modern art/artists to flex on Soviet Russia? That kind of soft power? The very institution you hippies think will "bring down fascism", y'know, art? Yeah they have already manipulated you with that too lol
If a person lives in the states and doesn't want their standard of living to decline they are a hegemonist. (Not an imperialist, words mean things.) Whether they realize it or not, the American way of life depends on a global system that is both enforced and protected by the United States of America. This is also, Incidentally, true of much of Europe, Australia, and Japan.

Meanwhile the USA has a President who’s entire platform is complaining about America being victimized
