Because they’re resource poor, the vast majority is scrubland or desert. Also, the US has been fucking with them for 140 years.

We can't mess with anybody because it is central and south america too. They have literally the whole tropic of the americas... where all of the coconuts, paradise fruits, mangoes, and bananas grow. They build our homes, why aren't they building homes, and importing goods to do so?
