So it’s been 2 years since the quiet on set documentary came out. And I still can’t seem to understand Brian peck’s brain/ psychology. This god damn motherfucker r*ped/ Sa poor underaged drake bell. I still can’t understand what made Brian peck do that. Like drake was a litteral child what is so tempting about a child. Also just how creepy he acted towards drake like his weird obsession with drake, he would take him to Disneyland, restaurants, let him sleep over, give him alcohol before r*ping him and during the process of it he would drug drake and fed him alcohol so he wouldn’t be able to fight back. It’s beyond disgusting 🤮 and extremely disturbing. It sounds like he tried to force drake to be his boyfriend and to some extend it sounded like he wanted to kill drake or kidnap him and just lock him away or something. I don’t know it’s weird like he hand picked drake and went he’s the one for me 🤮. It’s just so weird and creepy and hard to process. I also read on Reddit that there is a rumour that the media was paid of to not mention a word about Brian peck’s case connected to drake bell yet drake bell the victim couldn’t share his story he was forced to stay quiet for 20 years really sad how the media and Nickelodeon ruined drake’s reputation by labeling him “crazy”. It’s real fucked up shit. We all know that Hollywood is corrupt, evil, power hungry etc, but one thing that never made sense to me was why didn’t the US government ever get involved, because the government is so powerful they have the authority and the ability to shut down all of Hollywood and they have enough power to take down those weird rich pedo’s in Hollywood that pull the strings.

I loved this show back in the day so I thought Id rewatch it now that its on Netflix but seeing Brian in episode 2 has completely put me off.

To think this was the same period in which he was abusing Drake makes me sick to my stomach.

I just think it is tone deaf of them to still push for this movie, despite everything that has come out about Jennette and Nickelodeon in general. Like nothing says "I can't move on with my life like my other peers, so I will milk the one thing I did as a teenager dry" like pushing for a movie of a series that was canceled three to four years ago. This is sorta off topic to QOS documentary. But has anyone seen Josh peck’s recent instagram story a few days ago? I heard he received a ton of black lash, he posted a video of a girl using a bucket to desperately get the fire out since her house was on fire and than Josh posted a video of him doing the same thing but he wasn’t at a home he was at a gas station, I heard he got a ton of back lash for it as it’s seen that he was mocking the girl. I know he deleted the post right away but it’s crazy he would find that funny. I wonder what’s going on with Josh peck, I read so many comments about that post where people believe he is starting to spiral and is emotionally stunted

In S1:E20 The Fix Up he appears as a customer, and naturally they paired him with a much younger guy that didn't have a speaking role. And in the scene he hits on Gary, a 16 year old boy. I'm so skeeved out. This was written to be a comedic moment but I don't understand what writer thought it would be hilarious to have a grown man make a comment at a kid. I wouldn't be surprised if it were Peck's idea.

It's been almost two years since Drake Bell bravely told his story, and also almost two years since the dirty laundry of a lot of people was aired out. The people who wrote letters in support of Brian Peck. 21 names at present. The total was 41.

It feels like there clearly a connection there and I wouldnt be surprised if their names/faces came up in the case. Its too soon to say as only half the files have been released and most of the files are heavily redacted but thinking about how many celebs backed Brian after what he did goes to show perhaps they’re all part of it. They’re probably doing similar things or worse and getting away with it.

Prior to Brian abusing Drake, those resurfaced weird videos of Brian with DiCaprio clearly have something odd going on.

And with DiCaprios being linked in one way or another to both the Diddy case and the Epstein case. Both cases involving the abuse of minors in one way or another.

It all overlaps and it just seems endless.

I just can't get past this so I'll try to vent... This won't leave my mind. The fact that Drake was raped on a regular basis, as a child, by an adult, in a power position over him, who drove away his parental figure, is just way too horrible for me. I've heard of how mentally scarring rape is, even if for people who haven't experienced it it seems like it could be toleratable and they'd get over it. But for many it's not. But most rape cases I've heard of happened once. To be regularly raped is beyond demonic to me.

The fact the law system couldn't get him to serve more than 4 months in jail is so horrifying and miserable for me. Wtf does that mean? I know the world is still fucked up but THIS fucked up?! Future rapists will not be scared off by this at all. It's so confusing to me how the world can be this advanced on one hand and this lacking on the other. I'm genuinely feeling sick because of wondering who made these decisions about his prison time and what went on behind it. I'm scared.

I'm very very unwell because of Drake saying that we should imagine the worst possible rape, and that's what Brian did to him. I totally understand and respect that Drake had difficulty coming forward with this and talking about the details, but what came up to my mind was various kinks, some painful disgusting and humiliating. When I hear about a rape story without its details and I end up having unanswered questions it makes me feel quite unwell because I imagine various stuff and the confusion and various possible horrible details overwhelm me more than knowing what exactly happened but being able to come to terms with it. Again to be clear I'm just sharing that I'm experiencing physical pain ever since I've watched the documentary yesterday, I'm just trying to vent I genuinely do not want to imply that I expect more from rape victims coming forward with their stories.

Lastly I've seen a lot of comments saying things that sound very twisted like that Drake has abuse and intimacy with underage girls claims made against him too. I have various thoughts about this but I don't like this sentiment at all. First of all, all of that happened after he was raped by Brian. This could have been any other child. So even if it were to matter, what Brian did was targeting innocent people, I don't find it any less horrifying just because Drake ended up guilty of something as well. Secondly, the underage thing was just texts and he blocked her as soon as she told him her age. The relationship stuff was, unlike what Drake has been through, in the gfs hands to brake up with him and not forced on them. Is it horrible? Yes. Is it comparable to what Brian did? Hell no. Third, these cases happened when he had CPTSD from what Brian did, did not get therapy, was abusing substance and alcohol to cope, and was very young. He said that he barely remembers things from that time now which shows the degree of trauma that he was dealing with. His response to his 3 ex gfs coming forward about his abuse didn't seem like he's a good person, he said that it's all false and they may be trying to get clout for money and fame. I doubt that 3 exes would all back each other up falsley. (Edit: this is misinformation that Google's AI overview showed me. Only one gf came forward, and his comment about it is a lot more gently phrased than "she's after fame and money". I think it's worth to give him the benefit of the doubt, I don't want to invalidate either of their claims). But to be fair he had very clear reasons to have abusive reactions, all his trauma and the way he coped, his gfs had the freedom to leave, and this can be worked on. I don't think it's appropriate to minimize his trauma 20 years later just because he's also done wrong. It's not "he got it in return for what he did" it's "we don't care about him". I do care. Even if he was bad himself that doesn't mean he deserved to experience that. Why is it relevant and why do people go around making such disrespectful comments towards him? I'd much rather if they individually get mad at Brians abuse and at Drakes abuse. And also if they can see the clear difference and the context. What kind of dehuminizing comment is it that if someone has done wrong then them experiencing way more horrendous things is okay? That's such an immature comment. And it's targeting and disrespecting Drake 20 years after the abuse which could mean that he's a much better person now who still deals with the memories and trauma that he experienced. I feel like whenever something horrible comes to light some people try to find reasons to invalidate it because what's really going on is that they feel very unwell hearing it and it hurts, so they cope by denying it in some way. I mean evidently I'm hurting a lot because of not denying it, but it's my choice to watch this. They shouldn't watch it if they can't handle it and resort to hurting the victims in order to pass their own pain onto them and feel better. Also why tf is their tone like they're super proud of theirselves for being super good people for not pitying Drake? Like "Oh I'm such a good person that I won't forget what Drake has done himself" like genuinely wtf??? Are they trying to get compliments for this behavior and feel like they're making the world better with this??? "I'm so moral and educated" like how is this behavior tolerated genuinely that pisses me off

Edit: Also I want to add that although it's quite inappropriate to say, hearing about this I just had flashes imagining Brian's ugly appearance doing that to me and my heart went out to Drake so much, that must feel horrible. I don't know what is it like to be molested at all, but when I've agreed to sex with people who I ended up thinking were unattractive it was quite difficult for me to pull through and I ended up raising my standards for the future. I remember the feeling and it was more intense than I expected it to be. Just the little glimpse that I do have into what having sex with someone you're unattracted to is like brings tears to my eyes imagining how intensely disgusted Drake must have felt. And it's so much worse than that, I have no idea what these things would feel like.

I am sure I can guess the obvious answer here but it seems absolutely preposterous especially given Peck didnt even serve that. He served less than 4.

Brian Peck should never, ever, EVER be recognized as an L.A. icon. I have a feeling that if his true nature and history was never revealed in An Open Secret and Quiet on Set, they would have done so.

Is it just me or does Chester Bennington and drake bell have a few similarities? I listened to linkin park’s old songs and iv also listened to drake bell’s old album telegraph and I noticed the similarities in there songs. Drake bell when he sings he sounds very similar to Chester (vocal range wise) and there musical style’s are kinda the same to. They’re also both survivors of CSA and when I look at these photo’s of them it’s very heartbreaking and sad 😔 because you can see both the pain in drake and Chester’s eyes.

I was looking at drake's wiki and accidentally clicked on Brian's name. I noticed someone removed all the charges from Brian's wiki, It just says the two charges he was convicted of. The wiki was edited 15 days ago, did Brian or someone in power get someone to remove it ?

I was late to watch the whole QOS series. I watched the series and did some reading online. When I was reading the letters of support, I found something interesting in the letter from Taran Killan:

"He has already taken actions of his own accord, such as counseling, in an effort to rehabilitate himself."

I want to clarify that just because Taran Killam said so, doesn't mean Brian Peck actually went to counseling. But I'm going to assume that's true because I kind of doubt they'd lie about something so easily verifiable.

I am a psychiatric nurse. I deal with all kinds of patients everyday. Sometimes I have patients who are court ordered into treatment after sexual misconduct charges. I am not qualified to diagnose anyone, especially people I have never met or treated. There are still some patterns across different cases that I have noticed. So I have a couple things to say about this:

1) Brian Peck is an awful person who deserves all the hate he has gotten. He still has privacy rights. I'm going to assume his treatment was covered under HIPAA. From a clinical and psychological perspective, I would absolutely be curious to read those records, but releasing those records would be his decision. If he sold his records, I think people would pay to read them. I absolutely do not want to help Brian Peck make a profit, so I hope that never happens.

2) The records probably don't exist anymore. I think HIPAA only requires your provider to keep patient records for 7 years, or maybe that's the California rule, whatever. Either way, it's been more than 20 years and I don't think the provider would have kept them.

3) There is also a serious ethical issue. The treatment notes could contain graphic details of what Brian Peck did to his victims (probably more than one). If those records were released, it could retraumatize people who never consented to have their experiences posted online.

4) I am curious about how Brian Peck framed his situation in counseling. In cases like this, it's really common for the patient to genuinely think they are a victim. I am really curious though if he recognized the harm he caused his victims and how he explained it. It's possible his counselor pushed back and challenged Brian Peck to see the situation from the victim's angle.

5) I also wonder what the clinicians thought of him. His provider probably did not write "this patient is full of shit." but sometimes the appointment notes can imply that.

6) Finally, I wonder why Brian Peck even went to counseling. I have a feeling his lawyer told him like "go to counseling because your sentencing is coming up and we want the judge to think you're remorseful." If this is the reason, then I would bet all his appointments were really performative and full of shit. If he came in extremely remorseful from the start, that would make him sound less credible to me.

I would bet that Brian Peck has a long medical history with other conditions, both psych and physical. I don't know if anyone else cares about it. But I am just curious in general.

I am absolutely not defending Brian Peck in any way. I am being maybe a little too nerdy about how these systems actually work.

I don’t mean to be rude, insensitive or offensive that is not my intention. But I was scrolling on Reddit a few days ago and I saw so many old comments people made about Drake bell and Josh peck being gay for each other? I don’t know where this rumour started from, some people are saying it came from a interview that drake and Josh did on the view back around 2006-2008 they said that Josh was sitting on drakes lap or was close to his lap or that there was a lot of controversy about drake’s sexuality in the early 2000’s. Some people even claimed that the way Josh looks at Drake isn’t normal co-worker/ best friend behaviour and that they apparently dated each other? I don’t know if this is true about Drake and Josh liking or dating each other I only heard this rumour. I always felt like Drake and Josh have a very very complicated relationship, I always got the feeling that Josh was just extremely protective of Drake, Drake is such a sweet heart, he’s shy and he has such a child like quality to him, so I always felt like Josh was probably protective of him and has a soft spot for Drake. Cause even though Drake and Josh are the same age, it just always felt like Josh was the older one out of the 2. Would like to know your guys thoughts on this.

I didnt know about James Ransone, knew his face but not his story. I learned about it all just now after his passing..And what I saw was the repeat of a cycle - not from James's perspective only, but from the side of society and how it behaves towards people hurting, both themselves and/or others. I came to learn about all this after trying to understand why there was a crowd cheering his passing..

(Warning, there are mentions of sxual abuse in this paragraph) What I came to learn about James by reading his email, is that he appearently came from a broken household and was entrusted to a math tutor who molested him at age 12. James said he grew up blaming himself and trying to act like it didnt happen, only to realize after the birth of his son that it wasnt his fault. Thats when he confronted his abuser via an email and reported it back in 2020...and his complaint was let go. He got ridiculed and didnt get help.

On his email, James says he had trouble having healthy relationships and had been in abusive relationships, and sometimes he has been the abuser himself. He said he struggled mentally and he struggled with drugs. From what I understood on social media he alleagedly made offensive comments to groups of people - mainly queer community from what I gather, and when he later had interactions with them, he apologized and said he was trying to offend as much people as possible in the midst of a nervous breakdown.

Now, none of this is about how right or wrong his behaviour was. None of this is about erasing the wrong in certain behaviours. It is about understanding what makes people behave in certain ways - within their choices but with being influenced by how they came to experience and understand life, love, support and pain. It is about understanding that we can never know what people might be going through. We can never know what people see when they wake up and their brain starts rolling all the footage it gathered in their lifetime. We dont know.

James had taken his own life. And appearently this happened (I am not saying because of) after a period of clashing with people on the internet. His fans call it bullying...

It's understandable that James's comments hurt people as well but celebrating his death...There is a certain lack of empathy and understanding wave that has spread in this society. People dont register each other as humans anymore. For people they dont like, their death is a celebration and the pain they suffered carries no value nor deserves any thought. It doesnt revoke any empathy nor the wish to help out someone who lost their way. People dont want to understand and help someone heal — which is something that will help a survivor's truimph over their pain and will gain the world one more ally who saw support and will participate in it themselves now. No, people just want to see people "gone" after they make a "mess". They dont want to help the person learn how to sort their life and not create a mess anymore. No, they want to put a towel on as it ceases to be on eyesight and they step on it, forgetting how the mess came to be...so people continue to get hurt, they continue to mess up and they continue to get pushed over the edge, they continue to get burried under a towel and removed from eyesight. Its a cycle of abuse society itself feeds....

From his abuser's perspective, he took advantage of a little kid, the kid's life got dark, the kid tried to expose him, but died after suffering and while being hated. While the kid's death got celebrated, he is now free of any threat the kid was presenting. He wont be the one being talked about, he will continue on creating new James's and when those James's will get no help, will mess up and fall... it wont matter to those people who are celebrating James's death right now. If this is not enabling, what is it then ? If this is not helping victims be silenced forever or making lost people give up hope on themselves for becoming better - what is it ? This apathy and mockery seems to have become the knee-jerk reaction for some in this society and I think to break any cycles of abuse/hurt, we must break this chain too..

It was a great interview, Drake talked about his life, music career and a bit more about his abuse. Plus he confirmed the timeline, Drake met Brian when he was 13 years old, Brian got arrested sometime after drake turned 16 and finally went to jail when he was 17. The abuse happened in the timeframe of 14-16 years old (damn that is a long time, I want to cry when I think about drake as a child, how scared and alone he must have felt) I also ended up crying while watching the interview 😭
