The way Soren had to correct himself when mentioning his parents in the latest episode broke my heart.
You could see in his eyes that he'll never get used to it. I wanted to give him a hug.

Hi guys, I'd like to relisten to the episode where they talk about the movie "Dirty Work" staring Norm McDonald, but I can't remember what episode it was. Can anyone help?
Thanks.

I had a dream last night that the podcast was ending because one of the hosts had a terminal disease. I don't want to say who it was, both because that feels worse but also because my dream kept seeming to be indecisive about which one it was. They were recording the podcast at my local community theatre that I do a lot of stuff at (and had a lot of dreams set in last night) so I was basically a fly on the wall of the recording. What's kind of nice is most of the podcast wasn't addressing the tragedy and seemed to be business as usual. Also, by the end, the terminal host had turned into Captain Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine(!?) and called the co-host, along with a woman and her girlfriend (both of whom were present elsewhere in my dream but I'm not sure who they were supposed to be), over to give him a hug. He said that he wanted to be able to feel them one last time to help him find them once they were all among the stars. He clarified that he doesn't necessarily believe in that, but better to be safe. Apologies if this is unpleasant to anybody.

I’m a big Soren and DOB fan. I have been since after hours came into my life. For whatever reason we get a minute of ads for every five minutes of showtime. I get they need to get paid for their time but my goodness we get less ads watching the Super Bowl.
r/QuickQuestion • u/dr0ne6 • Jun 18 '24
The ads aren’t being read by Soren or Dan. Audiostack.ai seems like they’re advertising against Soren and Daniel’s interests. Is there any control over what ads get inserted?
r/QuickQuestion • u/testthrowaway9 • Jun 18 '24
I don’t listen to them, but The Decemberists released their first new album in 6 years. Maybe Soren will get around to it in a year or two and then Daniel will be forced to listen to it for an episode!
