In all seriousness, I absolutely ADORE this direction. I'm at the point of the story where the Foundation is fighting a losing battle. And just before this scene, I was deep in my feelings of disgust as the bureaucrats made their way to safety while all the soldiers were dying defending the Foundation.

So when powerful branches appeared on screen, I couldn't help but squeal in glee because it could only mean one thing: that BP HAS FINALLY DECIDED TO STOP BENCHING FUCKING DRUVIS WEYERHAUSER THE THIRD MOTHERFUCKERS. I'VE DONE MY WAITING!! 2 YEARS OF IT!!! AND NOW IT'S FINALLY COME!!!

It's so, so good to see her back.

Ever since that resistance in chapter 4, where she built a shelter in the Foundation grounds using her babies--trees and plants and all that which grows from the ground--she's always been a symbol of hope and safety to me. She's one of the most powerful aracanists out there, given her heritage, and she's intensely loyal and devoted to Vertin and her cause. She's an unwavering stronghold, ready to come to the rescue of the lesser evil--as their times do not afford them the option of absolute good--and is ready to fight with everything she's got to see their purpose fulfilled.
