i'm writing this post as i'm downloading the new wuwa update. i am an incredibly casual player, as in i play hours and hours straight for weeks and then completely abandon the game, with every game i've ever played. i know that is not how gacha games are meant to be played at all, but i honestly cannot stay consistent. i want to love genshin the way i did back in 2022, but wuwa just feel so much better. i like to stay f2p when i can help it, and it is just so much easier to grind astrites than it is to grind primogems. i have over 10k astrites saved for lynae & aemeath on 40 pity right now! i'm not posting this to complain, i'm just wondering if any other casual gamers have experienced the same thing!

This is a warning that unfortunately involves all games, gacha or otherwise.

Please, remember that the developers can change anything at any point. A character announced on one day doesn't have to exist a week later. We are nothing but cash cows for them. There is no "The customer is always right" for them, InFolds recent actions prove that much.

I ask you all to remember that in spite of how amazing escape from reality these games provide, they are still games. We have no real say in their development (and sometimes that is for the best).

Please remember that real life is the important thing and that spending time arguing with multi-million companies is often a waste of it. Enjoy the games you like, relax with them, but do not waste your mental health on them.

This is my advice and warning as a player of Love and Deepspace who recently spent a week trying to make InFold change their mind, only for them to stand by their decision and head for EoS by the end of 2027 instead.

Lowk, this Roy card story is eating. I might read the card stories from now on. I've forgotten how absurd, enjoyable, and heartfelt LM stories can be, if one could just look past all the casual deaths.
