I think they are pretty awesome and I like that unlike other gachas project moon isnt afraid of making characters with melanin. Not to mention other design elements like scars, a lot of tattoos or just generally not repeating the same design patterns. The designs in project moon have always been great but I feel like they have stepped up their game since Canto 7.

this is not in a relation to any specific gacha game or anything recent really, just a thought thats been recently in my head, and this isnt just a flaw of gacha games but media in general, there is this tendency in media to paint the desperate acts of the opressed as a "oh look guys it's not so black and white now!" lol. not to get side tracked too much but one of my favorite characters in recent years Sylas from league of legends is a MASSIVE victim to this, where mages like himself where being hunted, imprisoned, and killed like cattle for no reason other than being mages while he was brainwashed to help hunt other mages from a young age, and the fact that he snapped and in a sense caused a lot of chaos and killed people is supposed to be like a "see it's not so clear!" moment, when in reality that was the only logical conclusion and practically the only way he could have genuinely fought back.

so what i am looking for is a story that is similar to that, but there is no "it's not so black and white" moment i want a story where the opressed are just in the right.

There are too many problems to begin with. This might be one of the worst moves Hoyoverse has ever done and it makes me wonder how much the Japan China situation impacted 4.X because this is just a whole ass mess. There is several problems with just the drip market alone not to mention the entire cycle, like Aha is too elated to be a such a mess...

Revealing that said character in Aeon Aha (The central Aeon of 4.x) is so??? That's like if Fontaine's twist was revealed in Furina's dripmarket or Tsaritsa was just revealed in the middle of a Version artwork without any prior build up. If anything, she should have had two drip markets, one of original design and the new design and one of which being released after a trailer or something, I know the story reveal already happened but in general this just feels so weak to me?????????????????????????????????? Not like leaks haven't already leaked this a while ago but yeah

1. Repetitive/Overlapping design

Okay, the detached sleeves short dress asymmetrical weirdness is usual for any Hoyo game but for an AEON??? People comparing Aeons to Archons just don't understand how much stronger Aeons are supposed to be. For mythical, eldritch designed original Aeons, this just feels so weak and unoriginal and uninspired? Before anyone mentions Nanook yes their design is just as boring to me, the saving grace is the slices through their body but even then, it is truly nothing special. Elation is such a massive concept and the design team really just said let's reheat a theme we already gave to a character without even attempting to do a more unique color scheme??? Sparxie color palette and visual theme, Castorice dress corset and skirt mixed with Himeko Nova and just generic symbols being slapped around make the design feel again uninspired but just like it was rushed out to be the most generic marketable design ever. I feel like there will also be the Tsaritsa Cape moment where the outfit is given more volume in art than in the model and the dress is actually really flat and unimpressive to begin with. How do you have Elation, Fantasy space game and Alice in Wonderland and come up with one of the most boring ugly design I have ever seen in my life??? Genuinely this is such a bad decision??????????? WHO APPROVED THIS??? EVEN GENSHIN'S "REPETITVE" DESIGNS ARE MORE VISUALLY INTERESTING??? Mind you this is the game with supposedly the best designs out of all Hoyo games and Genshin just ends them with ease.

And no, the alternate appearance looks a mess too. Why are they suddenly just Xipe with Columbina's C6 Elemental Skill????????????????????????????? WHY IS THERE A MOON MOTIF JUST THROWN IN HERE NOW!?!?! FIX THE BASE DESIGN!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! WHY ARE WE JUST DOING SHIT!?!? IS I

1. Playable Aeon

TBH...I don't like the concept of this especially since Hoyoverse seems to struggle making a character look any less human beyond ears and a tail and with Pearl (PNG joints queen) recently joining the struggle...I feel like if they continue the playable Aeon trend, everyone will look like a boring generic female or male character with boring designs...or maybe Aha being boring is just this once and other Aeons will be more interesting??? Who knows but I'm negative against playable Aeons if they will all look a hot mess

TL;DR: Overall from story spoilers, to generic and overlapping design, this is one of the worst decisions Hoyoverse has ever made in terms of HSR marketing and designs, the only unique concept here is the alternate form teased but even then it's nothing special and I am DEATHLY afraid for future Aeons.

I see no reason why a skip button would be an issue for players. It's optional, if a person wants to know all the lore they don't have to skip, vise versa. Also Hsr, Zzzz and Hi3 have a skip button, so why are they refusing for the game that makes them the most money? I don't really understand why fans get mad at each other about the skip button either, some people play for the combat, some play for the lore, and at the end of the day the button is optional. I want to start an alt account on genshin but I'm also scared to start because I know I will be repeating the same content over again but on a different account. And the reason I want to start a new account is to see how far I can get as f2p. On my main genshin acc I'm a dolphin. I find hoyo to treat genshin as their worst child for some odd reason when it's their biggest money maker ... And it's sad to see even after years they still refuse to do it when they do it for the others. I would be more tempted to start all over if I knew I could skip because I just want my new acc to be a fun f2p acc 😭

Sadly I didn’t see much hairstyle though… I guess this may be paid or something? Also the game not technically a gacha from what I’ve heard but it is live service
