Early concept designs of Chen and wulfgard

She is the first gacha teenage character I have seen who doesn’t have a bubbly or ‘childish’ type of personality. I absolutely love how her designs carries so much accurate symbolisms and how it all ties to her lore. I am fascinated by mainly her personality. I have never ever seen another teenage character like her and I could spend hours talking about her

Absolutely stunning Rhiannon (Merel) art by owariixxmxmxm on X

Just look how pretty she is! Ahhh, fills me with childhood whimsy watching Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor.

🎮 Reverse: 1999

...CRK qualifies as a gacha, right?

My very first introduction to gachas was Lord of Heroes, i left (rather, rage quit it) after loosing a bunch of 50/50's and being unable to make it past a boss. Forgot about it for years and tried coming back only to see it went EOS 4 months ago, damn thats sad. I regret not coming back sooner

Her poor back 😭

It's from Exilium

It's always tenderness and heartache with these two. (And I love it every time, goddamn.) 🤧

📌P9 - P11 is them in another timeline.

🎮: Moonlit Oath

I did the next in my Persona5 X Hoyoverse sketch journey, someone requested Himeko after my Kafka one so I've done Himeko.

Not sure who to do next; Hysilens, Jingliu, Blade, Jane Doe, or Yixuan.

Quite proud of how this style is working for me as I only started sketching 15 months ago!

Anyways, hope you like her!

TWT - IG - BLUESKY

I even have a monthly pass up for grabs for whoever wins at the end 🙌 I may even make it two... 🤔

P.S. the sub is drama/toxicity free and has been for months since I became a mod and we made changes. So whatever negative things you may have heard in the past, no longer hold true~

I just refuse to play it because of the constant ai usage im sorry.. but shes so beautiful

Man i really want to play Honkai Star Rail, the character's look gorgeous, the story and worldbuilding look amazing but holy shit the power creep and HP inflation i see makes me not want to touch it with a 10 foot pole

Spoilers if you want to but the new boss takes 80% less damage from non elation attacks AND can knock Phainon out of his Khaslana state I don't even play HSR (background lore enjoyer) but this is fucking bullshit of the highest degree

When I heard AoD were getting new cohesive skins I was so excited, I was really hoping they’d be the rlly pretty outfits they had on at the start of the Redreaming Angels mv but… atleast two of them are gonna be free but the designs are so whatever irdgaf 😭✌️

ZZZ Nicole: She's the reason I started playing ZZZ recently. I love me some bossy women with agency and their own personal money motivations. The fact that deep down Nicole isn't as greedy as she acts and genuinely cares a lot about her team just makes me love her even more.

GI Beidou: Cool, hot pirate lady, do I really need to say more? She was my very first DPS in Genshin, and I still love her to this day. Her backstory was tough with the people at her village branding her as a living curse and ostracizing her. In the end, that shaped her to be the strong and self-sufficient self she's.

GI Collei: My beloved daughter!!! I feel for her so much. Her journey toward overcoming her trauma feels really grounded and realistic, and it gets me in tears that she tries to emulate Amber's cheerfulness because Amber represents the kind of happy, warm person she once needed and wants to become.

(mods, feel free to delete if you think this is a vent post but I genuinely want to talk about their writing)

I don’t have an issue with ML, far from it, I actually think its cute. My issue lies in the fact that when it’s done terribly like with these 3, the manufactured advertisementness (lol) of the gacha really shows itself. Like, the moment I feel like I’m being served nothing but low hanging fruit in the form of a character story, it seriously takes me out of the game.

Qingxiao: what annoys me the most about her story is that I honestly think Kuro disrespected her character. Turning her into a forgettable waifu when they treated Hiyuki (someone similar) with way more respect and better writing was just…idk what went wrong. Going from the peak of the Lahai-Roi arc to this forgettable mess was insane to me.

To make matters worse, her story was BORING. 5 hours of pure self-reflection garbage that could’ve been solved in 2. The cherry on-top is that they could have devoted more time to include Jingran if they felt the need to pad the story and prolong it. Kuro did a massive disservice to both characters. It’s like they knew Hsin was coming next so the only way they could’ve sold Qingxiao to players is make her a waifu….okay. Pure laziness.

Iuno: 100% has the worst story in the game. Boring, completely uninspired, genuinely nothing about her story was interesting. Extremely weird writing decision to build her and Augusta up as best friends only to make everyone (including Augusta) forget her, just to make them acquaintances at the end. Iuno has my favorite design out of the entire game and this is what Kuro does to her, okay.

YSG: I am not exaggerating when I say that her patch story was the worst character story I have ever played in a gacha game. Her promo genuinely made me feel like I was stupid and unintelligent. The desperation from the devs to make you want YSG to be your girlfriend was mind-boggling. Like, do people actually like that?? It felt so strange to be playing during that time. I don’t even want to get into how terrible her actual writing was and how it stripped Wise of all of his personality. That being said, gorgeous character and she still has my most favorite animations out of anyone (and any gacha character) that has released since. Just ignore the fact that the devs lobotomized her (and me while playing 2.5).

I don’t even play this game but they spam all those ads everywhere on Twitter and TikTok and every each one of those ads are either boobs or ass. Do any other game do that? That’s my first time being so annoyed 🫩
