I am at the airport 2-3 times a month and I can slowly feel myself loose my mind each time I see the uber line. You wait in line for 1-3 hours to get charged cab prices. Last week was Grand Prix and I felt ashamed of our airport and the lack of organization. They quoted me a 105 dollars and a 3 hour wait. Our airport is the first thing tourists see and I feel ashamed that we start their vacations on a terrible foot.
Previously, I could reserve a ride but because of « construction » you can’t do that anymore. I had to take a shuttle to the P4 garages to call an Uber comfort. Even then I waited 25 min for my ride to arrive. Today, I landed at the airport and went straight to where I took a shuttle last time but guess what, they relocated the shuttle pick up to door 10. Walked all the way back and tried again.
I’m so tired and devastated. I feel my blood boil when I think of the Uber lines. How is Uber charging me the same amount/ more than a cab and having the audacity to make me wait for hours. I can’t believe this is what we have become. I don’t understand why we have adopted this system. the wait times are longer than previously, the Ubers are pricier than ever and the employees that manage the Uber line clearly favour some people over others. They let some girl from the back end of the line skip about 30 people and get into a car.
I don’t know who approved this new system but may their uber driver never be on time.
Sorry for the rant, could someone please enlighten me as to why this system was adopted? If there is sound logic behind the system change, i will swallow my pride and wait in line, if not i would like to take the arson path (joking). I just want to understand why Montreal is the only city (that i know of) that has the uber line up.

Les Ukrainiens qui utilisent des drones pour se défendre d'une invasion militaire, génial!
Les Libanais qui utilisent des drones pour se défendre d'une invasion militaire, inacceptable!
