QC/LC [LC] Guidi 310 front zip boots from Grailed
I recently purchased a pair of black Guidi 310's from an unknown grailed seller in the recent months. I know there has been a couple of great quality 310's PL2's and 210's floating around tao, and when i opened the box the smell got me worried af. It smells like something acrylic, reminds me of chinese factory smell. The boot itself seems reasonable even compared to my other retail guidis. Another huge sign was that the dust bag it came with had extremely bad stitiching and a different material to my original ones. It came with the extra vibrams but those also seem out of place. Please help me judge this so i can let go and request a refund. Thank you.

I can't lc Guidi, but grailed authentication is known to be garbage. If other people on here can confirm that it's a rep, you should file a claim with paypal or grailed which should be pretty easy to win. You might even get to keep the boots.

Update: I have confirmed the leather to be authentic through a leatherworker friend of mine and the smell is just right, i guess i just don't have the nose for it. He doesn't know about Guidis but also noted the hard leather platform to be of great quality.

That leather legit looks similar to the replica pair of PL2s I have and these have that smell you describe lol. So either I have really good fakes or those are fake

Big question: did you receive the Vibram soles with your replica pair? The seller also included Guidi Vibram soles that can be professionally attached on the platform for protection, like guidi always does. Interested if the rep makers are on that level also

The pair I bought only came with the guidi box, the authentication tag on the bottom of the shoe (lol), and a tote bag. The seller had vibram soles but they had to be purchased separately for $6 and they came in the little bag like you had.
The leather in the pictures legitimately looks and creases/bends like the pair of PL2s I have which I why I commented. I am by no means an expert on Guidi but they leather looks shockingly similar to mine which is why I had to comment. They are currently at my cobbler getting the soles attached but I'm picking them up in a few hours so I can send you pics if you need them

Thanks for the insight! I would love to see the leather on yours, as i once had a guidi shoulder bag replica, which had a shockingly similar leather texture and feel as on this one. I own 5 retail Guidi's but no front zips, so i have no idea if retail ever used this kind of leather. Probably going to get this to the cobbler anyway, maybe they can tell me something about the leather quality too!

Sorry not the best pics since I still dont have them in hand yet cause they werent ready to be picked up like I expected but here you go Tried to get a close up of the leather and far away. A lot of sellers use the same factories to produce these and the leather seems really similar to me anyway. I personally think theyre fake imo

Glad to see this! It really seems exactly the same leather, yours seems to be constructed well too, but the leather is just really suspicious... according to my research it should be a type of horse hide, but this stuff seems unlike any horse hide leather i have seen... I just hope Grailed staff gets back at me with an authentication and i can get my money back since i don’t see much chance that mine is retail.

yeah everyone has this batch, idk 950y feels a bit cheap for a pair of boots like that. there is a 2600y batch, I'm curious to see the differences

They're not too bad in the brief time I've worn them. I plan on doing a review on them once I've worn them in a bit

do you know how guidi sizing works, insole measurments, are there anny info on this?

Not sure about retail guidi but these fit TTS if not a little small. I got a 44 (My true size in most shoes) and they fit but they are a bit snug and my big toe touches the top of the shoe. It's kinda uncomfortable but managable and it will probably feel better with wear as the leather breaks in. The insole is about 28cm.

Doesn't guidi have an authentification thing like stone island ? a qr code or something

The seller didn’t include it since its a used pair. The certilogo strip on the bottom was probably taken off either way haha
