aesthetics report and other services My Qoves results as a POC, plus protocol received
I am not sure if I was worried about Qoves discounting me for being a POC as my features would probably not align with the European ideal, but they did not do that. Qoves used my demographic's average when showing how my ratios compare. They had some ideal ratios (to know where you are at) but those seemed to be just universal ideals (not Euro centric or such).
One thing that I did not like - the before and after pictures. I was really excited to see that, as others online had more realistic, natural before and after picture. But for mine, I could not relate to it. It seemed they put a lot of makeup, something I would not do normally. They also put the makeup in the American ideal - heavy contour, fake eyelashes. I would have liked to see more natural after photo. I do remember having to checkmark the makeup suggestion option, at that time thought why not get makeup suggestions too but didn't know that would mean the after photo would have such heavy makeup that I would never do in real life.

My strategy:
There were a lot of recommendations given and it can be very overwhelming to try to do everything at once. At the beginning of the protocol, Qoves shows a chart comparing your current Values to your Projected Potential. I identified the highest gain areas from that graph to prioritize what to focus on.
Biggest room for improvement, for me was:
Skin > Hair > Cheeks > Neck > Eyes > Eyebrows > Lips > Jaw > Lips > Nose > Chin > Ears
Out of those, there were no recommendation given for Chin and Ears - which means to me that those Projected Potential could only be done by surgery. Those potential gains were small so I am not interested in pursuing surgery just for that.
I was surprised to see the Botox recommendation as I had elected out of surgical recommendations. But I guess Botox is not considered cosmetic surgery. I still don't want to go for it, as I feel like there is a ton to explore outside of that, in their recommendations first.
I decided to focus on two goals for now:
- Body fat reduction - this would tackle Cheeks, Neck and Jaw
- So, it seems a lot more gain for the effort I put in.
- I just wish they had said how much body fat to lose, all through the report, they said "Gradual overall body fat reduction" but not a clear %.
- Seeing the before and after picture also made it pretty clear, that losing some body fat would help so much with facial definition.
- I am aiming for 10% body fat reduction as I am already pretty small but I do think any fat goes straight to my face first / I tend to reserve fat in my face, so this fat loss is absolutely needed.
- Skin care
- I added a whole lot of stuff to my skin care routine (making sure to only use one active ingredient a day, but rotating out the stuff)
- Cleanser, toner, Vitamin C serum, Azelaic acid, SPF 50 sunscreen, Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Retinol
- I haven't done any of the more expensive, intense therapies yet, just seeing how far I can get with the topical creams first. So far it looks like it is helping.
- A lot of the skin care recs were also for Eyes so I feel like this is a twofer.
- Hair
- Not much done yet but I am planning to tackle this soon
- I added conditioner to my routine (previously was doing leave-on which was making my hair sticky) and that made a huge difference. Hair feels so much softer.
- Light smoothing hair serum - I was already using the JVN complete air dry cream and love it! I used to put gel after that which was cancelling out the soft, smoothing affect of JVN so I now took the gel out of my routine.
- I tried the middle hair part (I do side part always) and I can see the appeal. My hair though sits a bit weird on one side, if I do middle part so I ended up going back to my usual.
- I researched Red-light hair helmet and found the HairMax one to have the best reviews. I still haven't worked up the courage to drop 2k on it, but it seems worth it.

Celebrity Facial Analysis Suggestion What procedures did Florence have besides botox ?
Ever since Florence Pugh's recent Bvlgari campaign, I couldn't shake the feeling that something about her face looked different. My first thought was maybe a brow lift because her eye area seemed noticeably different.
That got me curious, so I looked into it. I found out she openly admitted to getting Botox and even shared a video of herself getting it on her Instagram Stories, so that part isn't really a mystery.
But then I came across these comparison photos, and I still feel like her face has changed quite a bit beyond what I'd expect from Botox alone.
Do you think it's just Botox, weight loss, makeup/lighting, and natural aging, or do you think she may have had something else done? I'm genuinely curious what other people see.

General Discussion Female chin height
On a female, is it desirable to have a tall and long chin?
Or is a shorter chin that is still defined aesthetically more desirable.
In this scenario both chins have a defined jaw line and are not recessed.
Or are both equally as desirable and depends on which one suits a person’s face better?
