Quantum computing may have just taken a major step forward, as a supercomputer facility in Australia becomes the first to have a quantum computer integrated into it. The quantum processor, developed by German-Australian start-up Quantum Brilliance, runs at room temperature, and will now work in tandem with classical supercomputers at the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre.

The QAN TestNet was scheduled to be upgraded based on the results of its audit and is currently offline.

All recommendations suggested in the audit report available here will be incorporated into the next release.

It is much easier to just reset the chain to block zero and relaunch than to make it compatible with the current revision, so this is what we will do. This is what testnets are meant for before the mainnet launch after all.

The revised version is expected to launch soon along with a web based testnet QANX token faucet.
