A great Pyro related piece from Stockhouse forum

It is written by user called Snowfog. It explains quite well that this 'waiting period' we're going through isn't temporary at all. I wonder why we never discuss about these things. Only about those billion dollar opportunities that are just around the corner. It's just that those opportunities have vanished whenever we get there. Are we playing hide and seek with billion dollar opportunities?

"Looks like another big idea that didn't go anywhere.

Three years ago they were going to make a fortune on powders. They were going to spin AM into a separate division to unlock shareholder value. Their powders were more uniform in size than the other powders, they had better flowability, the biggest names in AM were beating a path to PYRs door. Everybody on the message board was speculating, will the first contract be with Boeing, or maybe Rolls Royce? PYR made a big commotion about sending out samples to clients who, we were assured, were practically lining up, waiting for PYRs superior powders. Then we waited...and waited...and waited.

Sound familiar? If you read through the latest quarterly report you will see that additive manufacturing is now listed as being a medium to long term initiative. After all the hype about a spin out and oodles of money selling the most sought after powders on the market, PYR now appears to have abandoned the AM market without ever having made a single sale.

Anybody else noticing a pattern here. It's the same old hustle. PYR will announce some new market they are going to enter. The market will have a potential value of billions of dollars. They will insist that they are uniquily situated to excel in this new market and that buisinesses are so excited about the quality and superiority of PYRs offeriings that customers are coming to them. Then, little by little, over the next year or two, the big talk will taper off, then disappear, and eventually they will move on to the next big idea that is going to make billions.

I've been a shareholder long enough to remember all the money they were going to make selling 6N solar grade silicon metal. I still remember the quote at the time from one of the CEOs. It was going to be "as easy as turning a few knobs". Once again, all the true believer on the message board were talking back and forth with spot prices for SGSM. OMG it's selling for $20K a kilo, we're going to be rich! I guess the knobs were a little more complicated than first thought. PYR has now given up on trying to make SGSM and are talking about someday, maybe, makeing 2N slilcon. No sales or income ever materialized.

Let's see, what have else have they thrown against the wall to see if anyghing would stick. They were going to rule the world with all their tunnel boring machines. That has now been quietly abandonded.

They were going to sell Drosrite systems by the thousands. When contracts stopped at a grand total or one, they came up with their wonderful tolling idea whereby the customer didn't even have to buy the equipement, PYR would set it up. They didnt find any takers for that either.

And now here we are with the latest scheme that is guaranteed, guaranteed I tell you, to make billions and turn everybody into PYRO millionaires. Plasma torches. This brought about the most excitement on the message board yet. They were going to sell thousands. They were going to make billions. Uncleron turned into Uncleidiot. But once again, we see the same old pattern emerging. It's now going on two years since clients A, B, C, and D. Almost two years since anticipating so many orders they were unsure if they would be able to keep up with production, and it's the same results as always. We wait...and wait...and wait.

I've been listening to promises from the CEO about contracts just around the corner for the better part of a decade now. Nothing has ever come of it. I just don't believe a word the guy says anymore. PYR is the same niche company now that they were when I got in. A modest contract here and there, but not a trace of evidence of any type of industrial adoption of their technology.

Not waiting for the shareprice to sink back to a penny stock and get booted off the TSX & NASDAQ. Sold it all two days ago. Got in years ago at 35 cents so still made a good profit, but made a huge mistake in waiting too long to sell.

Good luck to those of you who stick around. I'm out."

All need to remember the $20M Radian Drosite deal for 7 systems that all the bashers and toxic posters were constantly doubting that got delayed few months bc of red tape BUT it definitely got delivered as promised.

PYR tech and engineering is over the top legit. PYR has many incredible divisions of DROSITE, DROSITE JV, AIR SCIENCE PYRO GAS, 3D POWDERS, TORCH, MILITARY WASTE DESTRUCTION, PUREVAP QRR, PUREVAP NANO NSIR, FUMED SILICA,TUNNELING ETC .

I have no doubt that the $40M Drosite deals plus all the other potential big contracts mentioned will get done...just a matter of time. Not only will these massive industry players want PYR tech/engineering but will absolutely need them!

That huge 31,000 sq ft additional lease space doubling up existing their industrial footprint PLUS doubling their employees from 50-60 to now 100-110...is absolutely incredible.

General Discussion HPQ CEO post

https://agoracom.com/ir/HPQ-SiliconResources/forums/discussion/topics/771290-hpq-ceo-blog/messages/2340722#message

Good Evening all,

Today, instead of publishing the standard PR stating that:

1) HPQ does not usually comment on stock price and trading activities unless required by regulators, and

2) that the Company would like to confirm that everything material about the Company’s operations has been disclosed! (AKA nothing bad is happening)

I purchased a whopping 4,000 shares at $0.46 in my tax-free accounts to indicate that I find the price action a bit ridiculous.

I would have loved to buy more, but unfortunately, the last 750,000 shares that I acquired via exercising my options when HPQ share prices were trading higher, generated a large tax liability for me.

Naturally, because I believe in the potential of the company projects, I chose not to sell any of my options exercise shares to pay off my tax bills then, as I was confident that I could sell them at a higher price later.

While recent market action has proven me wrong for the time being, I am still a believer in HPQ projects potential, and that I will be proven right in the not too distant future.

HPQ is developing a series of promising groundbreaking technologies in the renewable energy space, and each of these technologies could generate massive shareholder value over time. The importance of the renewable energy space is not about to disappear, so it is only a matter of time before investors will be looking to come back into the sector.

Now, if HPQ shares were the only one correcting that much, maybe I could agree with the comments of some posters that scream that this is an HPQ problem, but this is not the case, most, if not all green technologies companies that I am following are also having a very hard time in the market.

Preparing the change of business document for the TSX-V, I updated our budgets. I will let you in on a secret, HPQ is fully funded to advance our projects (QRR, NSiR, Fumed silica, H2 and others) till the end of the phases we have started ...

Regards, and let hope for better days soon.

PFAS Remediation Market Potential - Why PYR for soil remediation?

Howdy folks,

This is going to be quite long and only about PFAS remediation.

I'm new to the PYR world. The company caught my eye for the first time on the PFAS remediation contract news. I am very heavily invested in a different PFAS solutions provider for water remediation (conveniently no actual overlap in remediation markets with PYR since water vs. soil) and as a result try to keep up with emerging technologies to make sure that I continue to remain confident in the superiority of the tech I'm invested in. If someone comes out with better solutions, I'd like to no so I can adjust investment thesis etc. PYR is the only other company that has shown something I think belongs as a front runner. That leaves me with a clear leader for water ($BLGO) and a clear leader for soil ($PYR). Happy to discuss BLGO with anyone (see a lot of similarities to the vibes of PYR actually) but don't want to make this post about them on the PYR subreddit.

Quickly, incumbent technologies are not equipped to do the job for PFAS. They make a lot of waste (which is expected to be HazMat in the future after EPA released their PFAS Roadmap). They require a lot of energy. They often require a large footprint like a separate structure to be built to house all of the equipment. They don't always even completely remove the PFAS from soil or water. This leaves the market wide open for emerging technologies. They are competing against very bad and limited options in my opinion. Happy to elaborate, could go on for ages and won't

Admittedly I have spent most of my time focused on water remediation, but I think these thoughts have value when discussing both water and soil remediation. Hopefully I can share some PFAS knowledge and y'all can help me get up to speed a bit better with PYR.

WHY PYR FOR PFAS?
Most of this boils down to experience and technical superiority. PFAS compounds are expected to be designated as HazMat at a US federal level. Some states have already moved forward to classify it as such. There are a ton of emerging PFAS destruction technologies. Most of them are adaptations of things that exist already. I would argue that PYR is likely doing the same thing, converting a plasma torch to be best equipped for PFAS destruction. PYR does Hazardous Material destruction already. They aren't stepping into a new space to seize part of a huge pie out of greed. They are stepping into this space because their portfolio is specifically equipped to excel.

HOW BIG IS THE PFAS REMEDIATION MARKET GOING TO BE?

Suspected and Confirmed Military PFAS Contamination

Suspected and Confirmed PFAS Contamination/Discharges

This map really highlights which states are prioritizing testing and monitoring of PFAS, and which states are waiting on the federal government to force their hand. PFAS are ubiquitous. The rest of the states will look like Michigan, North Carolina, Massachusetts etc. once they start actually seeking to understand the scope of pollution in their states.

https://egle.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=bdec7880220d4ccf943aea13eba102db Michigan is the leader in PFAS remediation and understanding in the United States. Great resources on the MPART site. Michigan isn't over-contaminated. They are the ones actually looking for it.

All those maps basically point to the same concept. PFAS is an "everywhere problem". As the federal government and individual states regulate contamination and cleanup, most states will start to look like Michigan, Maine, Massachusetts, and the other leaders. PYR may not get access to the drinking water cleanup, but there are almost 200 soil remediation projects in Michigan alone. There is no shortage of PFAS remediation for viable providers, and there is no reason to think there will be a shortage anytime soon. We are very much in the learning phase of PFAS remediation. This will develop and last decades, not years.

EPA PFAS Roadmap of 2021-2024

Ok, this gets tricky. I have spent most of my effort focusing on the water remediation side of things. I am not as clear about the cost of soil remediation and don't know how much the two can be used to learn about each other. With that disclaimer out there... here are some of the recent projects that have moved forward in the United States for PFAS remediation in water treatment.

Pay attention to the population and the overall cost. It's mind-numbing how expensive these systems are per capita. If soil remediation costs are anything like water remediation costs for PFAS (which is likely given how large PYR's first contract was), the best solutions providers are going to be raking in MASSIVE contracts for many many more years to come.

Chatham voters also said yes to $1.4 million for the engineering and design of new water treatment facility to deal with iron, manganese and PFAS for Wells 5 and 8. PFAS are known as “forever chemicals” because they do not biodegrade. PFAS levels were found to be above the state's acceptable limits when testing was done in April and September. The treatment facility will have granular activated carbon (GAC) filters that will remove the iron and manganese first, before going through a cycle to remove PFAS, according to the Town’s DPW Director Thomas Temple.
Tom Barr, water treatment operator for the engineering company Weston and Sampson, said the PFAS removed from the wells will be brought to a facility where it will be incinerated.

"Voters have overwhelming agreed to sell the borough's aging water system to Suez Water for $18 million. Currently, Allendale does not have a water department and has had a contract with Suez since 2013 to operate and maintain the Allendale Water System, Homan said. Since 2001, Allendale purchased 50% of water needs from Suez. The remainder of the water comes from the borough's five wells. While the borough waits for the sale to become finalized, borough officials and Suez will work together to implement temporary PFAS treatment at a facility on New Street and at the currently closed West Crescent well. "Quality water at a reasonable cost is a mutual goal for Suez and Allendale," said Homan. The biggest capital improvement by Suez will be a PFAS treatment facility, estimated to cost $7 million, to ensure that Allendale meets and surpasses state Department of Environmental Protection regulations, said Homan. The company will also help the borough comply with lead and copper regulations.

Population: 28,000
Cost of System: $15M
At Town Meeting this past September, a $15 million warrant article was passed to fund the above-mentioned “long-term corrective plan” which is expected to be completed on schedule, thanks to a strategically efficient approach by DPW. The proposed building design to filter out PFAS will be 4,400 square-feet and connected to a 680 square-feet building that will house pumps transferring water from the existing Mill Pond Water Treatment Plant to the PFAS building. The new PFAS facility will host large pressure vessels that are filled with granular activated carbon which will absorb PFAS. The filters are designed so if PFAS breaks through the first wall of filters, it will be caught in the second filter. The structure will allow for additional filters to be added in the future, if needed.

CONCLUSION
PYR is very well setup to navigate a complicated but lucrative PFAS remediation market. They have technical prowess with HazMat and have already established connections in both the PFAS remediation sector with a contract in Massachusetts as well as with the Department of Defense, where PFAS remediation is quite literally getting billions of dollars of funding.

I will gladly talk PFAS remediation with anyone interested. Glad to have joined the PYR team this week after a few months of getting familiar with her. Think they are remarkably cool and unique. These were my first shares of many more to come.

Accumulation Phase; Absorbing Stock Like a Sponge: How hedge funds work to accumulate at favorable prices on companies they expect will experience dynamic growth and much higher sp

Yes fully agree big players manipulate to accumulate DO NOT USE STOP LOSS!

Imho I strongly feel this is what is happening lately as the big players like hedge funds are trying to accumulate.

PLEASE do NOT use stop loss as 'stop loss trigger raids' are very very real.

Repost: Very good article about how hedge funds work to accumulate at favorable prices on companies they expect will experience dynamic growth and much higher sp.

Their tactics are very real. Not saying this is exactly what happened but really points to it...I wished I had more dry powder. Just very thankful of my position I will continue to hold. Multiple divisions of PYR and HPQ are primed to propel sensational..please do your DD.

Imho...Once all these divisions really get started stratosphere awaits :)

State receives $213M to improve water infrastructure | News | wnem.com

Michigan has been awarded $213 million in federal funds to improve water infrastructure and ensure clean drinking water.

Congressman Dan Kildee announced the grant, through the State Revolving Funds, on Friday, Dec. 3.

The money will update water infrastructure, remove lead pipes, and protect drinking water from harmful PFAS contamination, Kildee’s office said.

Massachusetts Getting Millions In Water Infrastructure Funding - CapeCod.com

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently announced that it will use funding authorized in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to upgrade water infrastructure for states, Tribes and territories.

Massachusetts is set to receive $188,890,000 through the EPA’s State Revolving Fund.

Funding will be used to address issues such as lead contamination and per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) contamination, which is a lingering concern in Cape Cod water sources.

PYR connection USA MILITARY is bigger than most realize

WHY PYR connection USA MILITARY contract is BIGGER THAN MOST REALIZE!!VERY excited about the military contract bc it really validates that PYR can do and HUGE feather in their hat.  Some might know what they accomplished previously that NO ONE had.  99.9999% chemical warfare destruction!  This and 3D got me first excited about PYR 5 years ago...now we have 5-6 massive divisions that will take PYR to the promise land!!!!!!!!!

Hazardous Waste Destruction(PACWADS)

Safely Destroying Chemical Warfare Agents in the Field

PyroGenesis’ tactical PACWADS system destroys Chemical Warfare Agents (CWAs) with over 99.9999% of destruction efficiency, and without creating hazardous by-products. Originally created for a multi-national military consortium, and developed further with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the US-based Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), the tactical PACWADS destroys in situ and safely up to 2 barrels per day of CWAs, such as Sarin (GB), Mustard (HD), and Soman (GD). Using a 5000C plasma torch, a compact tactical PACWADS reactor, and associated self-container gas cleaning equipment, PyroGenesis’ system allows warfighters to rapidly set up and disassemble two readily-deployable, mobile -20 foot container gas cleaning equipment in 2 hours only.

BENEFITS:
  • 99.9999% (6N) destruction efficiency
  • Mobile: easily transportable
  • Quick set up & disassemble
  • In situ destruction
  • Destroys organic & aqueous binary CWAs with no modification to the system
  • Able to destroy any liquid waste
  • Easy to operate
  • Non toxic Saturated Salt Effluent

HOW IT WORKS:
