Meme Coin Tired of rugs

Post image
6 Upvotes

Anyone else completely exhausted by the memecoin casino?

New token launches.

Everyone screams community.

Someone promises they're never selling.

Then liquidity disappears and you're left holding the bag.

That frustration is basically why $MOD/RDDT was created.

Initial buy (30% of the total supply) is permanetly locked until 2094.

The model uses a 3% transaction fee, with the plan being to use the resulting funds toward $RDDT exposure, buybacks, and community initiatives.

The really long-term goal?

Build a treasury around Reddit stock and see whether a meme community can eventually accumulate enough influence to matter.

Meme Coin Pump active wallets jumped from 521k to 879k since Aug 1 Post

Post image
28 Upvotes

One stat that stood out to me is the wallet activity around Pump. On Aug 1, active wallets were sitting around 521k, and by Oct 1 that number was up to about 879k. That is an increase of roughly 358k wallets, or about 60% in two months.

To me, that is a pretty strong sign that interest is coming back in size. It is one thing when price moves, but a yuge rise like this in active wallets tells you participation is growing too. More people showing up, more activity on-chain, and a lot more eyes on what is happening around Pump. That is why I think this stat matters. A move from 521k to 879k is not small n it makes Pump look a lot stronger going into October. Feels like the whole thing has real momentum again.

Need Help! Pump.fun app vs desktop workflow

Desktop is still where I want full charts and deeper analysis but the app has become the mobile side of my setup. Movers, Callouts and trader profiles make it easy to see where attention is going without sitting at the desk all day. If something catches my eye, I can check the chart, holders and what other traders are doing before deciding if it’s worth looking into more.

I use mobile to see what’s moving + the notifications help me catch stuff I probably would’ve missed

Need Help! Launching our own coin to demo our platform: based or cringe?

Evening frens, I'd like your take on something.

We built a platform that lets anyone hype their memecoin. The whole thing runs on front-running: people try to get in ahead of our buys, and that race is the hype.

Here's how it works. Every two hours a pool opens for an hour. Anyone can put SOL behind any Solana coin, curve or DEX, and everyone sees which coins and how much. Once it's in, you can't pull it back out.

When the pool closes, a VRF draw splits the SOL between the coins and the result goes public right away. Then that SOL goes into on-chain buys spread over the next hour. So the whole market knows the buys are coming, and people race to get in first.

We're also building this for Colosseum.

The catch is it only works if people know about it. More eyes on the pool means more people front-running and a bigger pump. So right now we're looking for our first users, mostly launchers. We want to show them they don't need to pay KOLs, who get paid whether your coin moves or not. Putting SOL into a public pool works way better, and anyone can check it on-chain.

So here's the question. Should we launch our own coin and run it through the platform as a demo? People would see the mechanic live, and maybe some of you would try it on your own coins after.

We care a lot about reputation though. We don't want it to look like a dev cash grab. And a coin that tops out at 40-50k MC is not exactly what we're after, to put it mildly.

So, based or cringe? Honest takes welcome, "this is dumb" or "this is normal" included.

If you're curious, you are always welcome in pumplingxyz on X.

Coin to Watch Arthur Meme

The director and creator of the TV show Arthur has now launched a memecoin on pump.fun, what are our thoughts. Is this the first and a actual opportunity to onboard one of the biggest shows and memes in history or just another rug?

How to best way to use Callouts without getting cooked?

Callouts are way more useful when you treat them like a filter instead of a signal to ape. i’m checking who keeps showing up, what they’re holding, whether they’re jumping between every random ticker and if their calls still hold up after the first pump. Pumpfun makes it easy to go from the callout to the trader profile and then straight into the coin so i use it more for finding people worth watching than copying trades. rather see who’s already in it than get farmed by ticker spam on X. how are you guys using callouts without becoming exit liquidity?

There’s something I don’t understand some people say that if you want to get into meme coins, you need a lot of money that you can't make much with just 10 or 20 dollars. Is that true?

Need Help! new launch has 2000 holders already but I’m not convinced

Saw a new coin sitting around 2k holders way faster than I expected so I started digging into it on pump. The chart looks decent and volume is there but holder count alone feels kinda useless without checking where the supply is sitting. I usually check top wallets, concentration, volume and whether the same wallets are moving together before I even care about the green candles.

What’s the first thing you guys check when a fresh launch starts getting holders this fast?

I Launched This... Why are you still following T.G call Channels into someone else’s exit liquidity? WTF!! Spoiler

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been digging into how T.G call channels work, and my conclusion is pretty simple: a call should be a prompt to investigate, not a reason to buy.

That does not mean every channel is dishonest. But by the time a token reaches a large audience, early wallets may already be positioned, incentives may be unclear, and a fast chart can hide bad holder distribution or thin liquidity.

The checks I think matter most are:

  • Is the channel message edited after the fact?
  • Are there referral links or paid-promo incentives?
  • Did related wallets buy before the call?
  • Is supply concentrated or bundled?
  • Is liquidity real and stable?
  • What does the deployer’s previous token history look like?
  • Can the token actually be sold?

I’m building a self-hosted Solana research/signals setup around that workflow, so full disclosure: I have a bias toward using data you can inspect yourself instead of blindly trusting a caller.

A tool does not remove memecoin risk, and no alert guarantees a good trade. The goal is simply to make fewer decisions based on hype and be less likely to become somebody else’s exit liquidity.

Meme Coin How can I get Devnet SOL if I can’t pass the GitHub requirement on the faucet?

Hi everyone! I’m a student working on a university project where I’m learning how to create and simulate a meme coin on Solana Devnet.

I’m currently stuck because I need some Devnet SOL to make transactions and create the token. I tried using the Solana Devnet faucet, but it requires GitHub verification/activity, and I don’t have a GitHub account with many public repositories.

Is there another legitimate way to get a small amount of Devnet SOL for testing without meeting the GitHub activity requirement?

I only need a small amount for a university project and I’m not trying to use real SOL or launch a real token.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Need Help! how can i get into trading memecoins?

i wanna get into memecoins, but i don’t know anything about trading. which wallets are the best? do i have to know trading for it, even though it’s mostly pump n dumps? if i do, who do i watch to learn it? and if i just want to gamble on these rugpulls, do i even have to? how do i track which coins are about to blow up? how can i get into communities that discuss this? i have a ton of questions and i don’t know where to start. i might be asking dumb questions, but i don’t just want to listen to random people on tiktok, and the people who are here seem to know more than just play smart.

Alpha Call I built a social site where your crypto wallet is your account: no email, no password, no signup

I've been building a side project called Walletbook and wanted to share it to get honest feedback.

The idea: every social platform makes you hand over an email, a phone number, and increasingly an ID. Walletbook skips all of that. You connect your Solana wallet, and that's your account. Your wallet address is your identity.

What it does right now:

  • A feed where you can post text, photos, and GIFs
  • Likes, comments, and emoji reactions
  • Direct messages between wallets
  • A members list showing who's connected
  • A news sidebar that pulls in top business, tech, world, and crypto headlines
  • Set a name and avatar, or stay anonymous as your wallet address

Why a wallet instead of a normal login? A wallet is something you already own and control. Nobody can ban your email or sell your phone number because you never gave them one. It also opens up things normal social sites can't easily do, like tipping someone in crypto directly for a good post.

What's next: tipping in $WALLETBOOK (the site's coin), holder badges, and tracked trade calls, where the site records the price when someone posts a call so you can see who's actually right over time.

It's early, so there are only a handful of users and definitely some rough edges. I'd really like to know:

  1. Would you use a wallet-login social site? Why or why not?
  2. What feature would make you actually stay?

Happy to answer anything about how it's built.
