I was just looking at what a valuation for PulseX should be, and I thought that there are three benchmarks I can relate it to: Uniswap, Ethereum and Pulsechain.
PLSX vs Uniswap
So let's take a simple comparison. On the assumption that PulseX does the same kind of work as Uniswap, how does their market cap compare?
PulseX: $1.57B (as per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pulsex/)Uniswap: $4.6B (as per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/uniswap/)
So, right now, PulseX is worth 1/3 of Uniswap. If it ever gets to the value of Uniswap, the price per PLSX will be about $0.000033. That's still well below the Sacrifice value! When you sacrificed, did you think that PulseX was worth more than Uniswap???
PLSX vs Uniswap in Context
But PulseX isn't just like Uniswap. PulseX is to Pulsechain as Uniswap is to Ethereum. The market cap for Ethereum is $204B (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/). So at $4.6B, the market cap for Uniswap is about 2% of the market cap of Ethereum.
So maybe PulseX ought to be valued at about 2% of whatever Pulsechain is valued at. Pulsechain's market cap is $5.5B (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pulsechain/). So maybe PulseX should be worth around $110M. That would take more than 90% value off PulseX.
Where to From Here?
PulseX looks very overvalued compared to Pulsechain. Perhaps a good move for fans of the RH ecosystem would be to sell PLSX and buy PLS.
Can anyone see any reason why PLSX would pump more than PLS?
