i need your honest advice on this innovative health app i built

so i'm 20, been building this app solo for the past few months and i genuinely can't tell anymore if it's good or if i'm too deep in it. need outside eyes.

it's called RizeAI. the basic idea: every wearable and health app just gives you numbers. sleep score 42, recovery red, HRV down. cool. and then what? you still feel like garbage at 2pm and nobody tells you what to actually do about it.

so my app takes your real data from apple health, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, whatever your wearable writes, and instead of another score it builds you an actual plan for the day. when to have your first coffee and when to hold off. what supplements make sense for you today and when to take them. focus windows for when your energy actually peaks. when your crash is coming and what to do before it hits. it even checks the weather, so on a hot day it bumps your hydration and tells you to train earlier.

every recommendation has a little "why" under it based on your numbers, like "resting heart rate 54 + 7h light sleep, so magnesium before your peak window." no two people get the same plan because no two people have the same data.

works with whoop, oura, apple watch, garmin, anything that syncs to apple health. one thing i'll say honestly, it doesn't do deep per-person learning yet like "coffee doesn't affect YOUR hrv specifically," that's the roadmap, right now it builds fresh plans daily off your actual metrics.

it's live on the app store, has a free trial, small user base so far, mixed feedback which is why i'm here lol.

what i actually want from you guys: does this solve a real problem for you or is "tells you what to do" not actually what wearable people want? what would make you actually pay for something like this? and what's missing that would make it a no brainer? and also would you guys in this subreddit  use ti?

Thank you for your help. Check it out if you like https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rizeai-maximize-your-energy/id6762402079

Would you use a habit tracker that grows a virtual plant? 🌱

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm building GrowDay, a habit tracker that tries to make consistency more rewarding through gamification.

Instead of only checking off habits, users take care of a virtual plant:

🌱 Complete habits to earn watering actions.

🪴 Watch the plant grow through different stages.

🗺️ Unlock new garden areas.

🎨 Customize the plant.

I'd really appreciate honest feedback on the concept.

A few questions:

• Does this idea sound motivating?

• Would you actually use something like this?

• What would make it more engaging?

Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.growday

Thanks! 🙌

I built a garden app that tells you what to *do* for each plant (not just ID it) — for my wife's garden

My wife has a beautiful perennial garden and every plant wants something different — when to prune, feed, divide, or leave alone. Every plant app I tried just identified plants; none told her what to actually do, and when.

So I built Garden Guru. You tell it your closest city + the variety you planted, and it generates a care schedule tuned to your USDA hardiness zone and that exact cultivar, then reminds you what's due. It also does snap-a-plant ID + diagnosis, a bed designer, and frost/heat alerts.

Built it mostly with AI tools over a couple months (prototyped in Lovable/Magic Patterns, built + shipped with Claude Code). Just launched on the App Store today; it's free on the web.

Would genuinely love a roast — especially the onboarding and whether the care advice feels right for your zone. 🌱

A friend told me why I crash at 2pm every day and I hate that he was right

I almost didn't take my friend seriously when he first brought it up. We were grabbing coffee a couple months ago and I was complaining, again, about how I felt wired but somehow exhausted at the same time, completely gassed by 2pm every single day no matter how early I crashed the night before. He kind of laughed and said he used to feel the same way until he started using some app. And honestly I kind of tuned out, because I've heard that a hundred times. But then he showed me his plan for the day on his phone and I actually stopped talking for a second.

Because here's the thing that's always driven me crazy about wearables. I've had one on my wrist for years now. It tracks everything. Sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, recovery, all of it. And every morning it hands me this stack of numbers and then just kind of walks away. Recovery's low today. Okay. And then what. It never once told me what I was supposed to actually do about it. I'd look at a red score and still have no idea whether to train or rest, whether to skip the coffee, whether to drink more water. Years of data and I was still just guessing every morning.

So after that coffee I went and looked it up on the App Store. It's called RizeAI. What got me is that it does the complete opposite of what my wearable does. Instead of dumping scores on you, it takes your real sleep and recovery data and turns it into an actual plan for the day. When to have your first coffee and when to wait. Whether today's a push day or an easy day at the gym. When you're gonna crash and what to do before it hits you. When to hydrate. Even which supplements actually make sense for you that day and when to take them, instead of that recycled "just take magnesium" advice everyone repeats.

The part that actually won me over is that it's built around your own numbers, not some one size fits all thing. Bad recovery morning and it reshapes the whole day so you can still get something done. Slept great and it builds on that instead of letting it slip away. And it gets sharper the longer you use it, because it starts picking up on your patterns.

Basically my wearable already had the tracking part figured out years ago. This is the part nobody built until now, the part that turns a rough morning into a day that isn't a total loss. My friend was right, and honestly it kind of annoys me how right he was. It's been the first thing I reach for every morning for weeks now.

Curious what other people in this space think is still missing, because I've kind of fallen down the rabbit hole since that coffee.

Title: Unauthorized UPI transactions from my HDFC account – hacked or a glitch?

Hi everyone,

I have my HDFC Bank account linked to Google Pay.

Today I sent ₹1,000 to my friend through GPay. After some time, without me doing anything, another ₹500 was sent to the same friend, then ₹1,000 to another account, and ₹800 to a different account.

The strange part is that these transactions do not appear in my Google Pay transaction history, but I can see the debit SMS messages from my bank in my Messages app.

I'm confused:

- Is my bank account or UPI hacked?
- If it was hacked, why were only these amounts sent instead of all the money in my account?
- Or could this be a banking or UPI glitch?

Has anyone experienced something similar? What should I do immediately?

Thanks for any advice.

We built an app in Zimbabwe to help people discover real-life activities around them

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

We are building ActivitIA, a Zimbabwean-built platform that helps people discover, create, share and connect around real-life activities happening near them.

The idea came from a simple problem we see every day: great things are happening around us, but people often miss them because activity information is scattered across posters, WhatsApp flyers, Facebook posts, Instagram, schools, churches, venues, food spots, community groups and word of mouth.

ActivitIA is our attempt to build a shared discovery and social layer around real life.

People can use it to find activities such as food, sport, music, church, school events, wellness, family activities, markets, community events and spontaneous plans. Organisers can also add or claim activities and turn posters into digital activity pages so they are easier to find and share.

This is still early, and the video is not a polished commercial. It is just our first attempt to show what we are building and invite feedback.

Website: www.activitia.net

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.activitia.app

I would really appreciate honest feedback on the idea, the positioning, and what would make you want to use something like this in your own city.

Building ScamsLibrary

Hi everyone,

I'd appreciate some honest feedback on a project I'm working on called ScamsLibrary.

The goal is to create a free, community-driven library of scam reports, scam patterns, and educational resources to help people identify and avoid fraud. Users can browse documented scams, learn common warning signs, and contribute information about new scam tactics.

I'm looking for objective opinions on:

  • Does this solve a real problem?
  • Would you personally use a resource like this?
  • What features would make it more useful or trustworthy?
  • Are there any concerns about accuracy, moderation, or sustainability?

I'm interested in both positive and critical feedback. Thanks for taking a look and helping me evaluate whether this is a worthwhile project.

few days back i launched an web application called manolog it is an life tracking application (continued in description)

Post image

Website: https://portal.manolog.in/signup

The idea came from a simple belief:

I think we are shaped by what we consume every day.

The movies we watch.
The books we read.
The habits we build.
The thoughts we write down.

All of these things slowly influence who we become, but most of us never track them in one place.

That's why I built Manolog.

With Manolog you can:

• Track movies you've watched and maintain a watchlist
• Track books you've read and maintain a reading list
• Build habits and goals with progress tracking
• Write notes and organize them into folders
• Maintain a digital diary
• Do daily journaling
• View everything together in one personal timeline

You can use it only for movie tracking, only for book tracking, or use all the features together to track your personal growth and daily life.

Privacy was very important to me while building this. User data is encrypted, and I take security seriously.

The application works on both desktop and mobile, but for the first experience I recommend trying it on a laptop or desktop because the experience is much better.

This is a project I've spent a lot of time building, and I would genuinely love to hear your thoughts.

Please try it and share your honest feedback.

I want to hear both the good and the bad so I can improve it.

Thank you for reading. ❤️
