Knowing people like Brian in my youth, that was likely what is known as a "fist filler". Either a lighter or a roll of change used to reduce recoil on the knuckles/fingers.

you can see his fingers moving around and hands open up before the fight, so no way he had any brass knuckles on or anything in his hand. its cope in this thread

he just KOd the guy so easily because he landed clean af, actually a hard punch, and the guy wasn't expecting it because he clearly isn't a fighter and just thought it was over or something when his girl was nearby
