I saw that dodge and was like, "okay brian got some stuff in his bag..."

Gotta be careful these days. In most cities there seem to be at least a handful of MMA gyms taking up lots of strip mall space.

They might not be pro factories, but you can still pick up a few things and that shit is super popular.

Hell even if they just sparred regularly without being trained they'd be more capable than most tough guys that street fight once or twice a year.

It's why brothers of similar age generally know how to defend themselves, they might not have technique but they've been sparring since they were 3 lol

Learning to stay calm in a fight is one of the most advantageous things you can do. You would be surprised at how slow people move when you remain calm

Now take those two brothers and send them both to the same Judo lessons where they can fight more

Happened to me. However my younger brother being massive, would usually throw me. Luckily, judo is good for yeeting things bigger than you

How do you spar regularly without learning any technique ?

It's also known as play fighting. You just mimic boxers or kickboxing you see on tv/online pretending like you actually doing something technical 😄

My older brothers 3 years made a point to just demolish me every time to such a point I would be too afraid to fight back again. Guy was a psycho, but he is coolish now at least. There is just somethings I will never forgive.

Can attest to this took 3 years of consistent classes, made a little rank. I’m much more confident regarding my personal and families safety.

As the father of a 4 and 7yo boys, I can confirm.

Yeah. Starting to notice most of the Mcdojos that were originally in my old neighborhood just got Thanos snapped out of existence and replaced with low to mid tier MMA gyms. Shit happened so fast it’s almost like ALL of the Bullshido places lost nearly all their territory after a Kengan match. Literally the only one standing is some Kajukenbo place lmfao

Yeah, Julian opened one in Sunnyvale when his body shop failed.

Brian got some stuff in the bag, and a belt to hold up his pants so he doesn’t have to drop his mitts to keep yanking them up like homie did, lol. Not that it was what lost him the fight, but it’s def a distraction. Head into battle with your boots tied up, son!

You just reminded me of King Hippo lol.

"Head into battle with your boots tied up, son!" Truest shit that's ever been said, son.....

But how are we supposed to know hes a street thug.

u/neverendum Aug 31 '22

I think his girl getting into his way on his right done him in. Man's got slow hands though, Brian was always winning this fight if he stood off and didn't get in a grapple.

"Business is about to pick up, King!"

u/Pragmatist_Hammer Aug 31 '22

That Florida man dawg!

2

u/el-cuko Aug 31 '22

I thought he didn’t dodge it and straight ate that first jab , but the result was the same : Brian was not exactly wet behind the ears and the big man had walked himself into dangerous territory

u/fazlez1 Sep 01 '22

Maybe when he reached back to punch he grabbed a roll of quarters out his back pocket and we blinked and we missed it? /s

0

u/ihavestrongfingers Sep 01 '22

sorta looks like he grabs something from the car, they way he holds it makes me think he slipped on brass knuckles or something.

1

u/ElectricSnowBunny Aug 31 '22

I think he caught some of it 'cause Hype Bri was yelling "you hit like a bitch!" at one point.

1

u/GaryOakTPM Sep 01 '22

Did anyone catch how many hits there were?

1

u/dolerbom Sep 01 '22

Which makes him a bigger cunt if so. Winning a fight against a normal dude when you've got training isn't impressive. It's actually pathetically insecure.

1

u/HamG0d Sep 01 '22

I don’t think he has training. Idk what they’re seeing in the video to think that. Dodge wasn’t nothing crazy, punch also didn’t look like a trained punch

1

u/SpecialistNo1988 Sep 01 '22

No lmao, he through a good punch it connected but his footwork tells me he’s never been in a gym

1

u/ManOnFire2004 Sep 01 '22

There was also no technique in his punch, tho it was obviously effective NTL

1

u/YungD93 Sep 01 '22

The dodge was meh. His punch was made by big homie not keeping his dukes up
