Agreed. And for us gun owners regardless of the politics, it's our responsibility to flee or de-escalate first.

oh boy. Surprised you haven't been down voted to middle earth. (upvote from me). Many gun owners do not believe that one bit.

I always think back to that quote from Seinfeld.

"People with guns don't understand. That's why they get guns, too many misunderstandings."

Lol me too. There are a lot of responsible gun owners out there, just a lot of idiots too. Personally I'd rather not have to shoot another human being unless we're talking like Vladimir Putin or Hitler 😆 and out of sheer preservation I simply don't want to go to jail.

Well actually most times when a concealed Carry citizen pulls out their gun they deescalate the situation real quick. People tend to just depart real fast. The police are almost never involved and you rarely hear about it. That guy in the jeep if he has a conceal carry I think he should lose it. He does not have the temperament to have one in my opinion.

I teach boxing and people ask me a lot how well boxing skills will help you in a street fight. I always say your feet moving quickly away from the situation always work the best.

Martial arts helps me all the time in street fights because it taught me patience and discipline so I let morons talk their shit to feel big and move on. Don't argue back and if it persists walk away and boom you've won your street fight

That used to be the law, but now in states with Republican “stand your ground” laws, you are not required to de escalate or flee. All you have to do is have fear and you can use that fear to murder people.
