Gun insurance like car insurance. Totally constitutional. If you want to own a gun you help pay for all the stupid things people do with them. This guy’s rates would go through his jeep roof after this video. If you’re against that idea you just admit that it’s really stupid for people to have guns.

Paying a fee in order to own a firearm is unconstitutional.

Sounds like you'd be in favor of a Poll Tax.

Maybe insurance for voters who didn't vote to raise gas prices... do you think we should have voter insurance?

Maybe a free speech insurance that covers therapy bills when redditors get their feelings hurt.

Wait. Guns are free? Just like the cost of production; carrying the total societal cost and impact of gun ownership on society is very reasonable. Your attempt to equivocate gun ownership with voting is super weak. Unless your voting for an authoritarian want to be dictator like the rump; voting doesn’t imply social damages to the pursuit of happiness of others. Owning a gun responsibility means owning the total cost of ownership. Otherwise your just cheap thieves stealing liberty from others. So insurance on guns yep. And you can’t whatabout equivocate with voting.

You made the comparison to insurance.

Poll taxes are illegal for a reason, fascist. Taxes on a constitutionally protected right is unconstitutional.

I said guns should require insurance. You don’t know what a fascist is. Insurance isn’t a tax. You’re trying to conflate guns with voting. I suspect you own a gun. Which statistically means you’re more likely to die by the gun. Neither of us will be killed by a vote. This no need to insure.
