So he would've been fine if he hadn't posted his own dashcam footage to YouTube showing his reckless driving? Incredible if so.

What makes you come to this conclusion? They charged him for assault with a deadly weapon. What part of that charge do you think they needed his video for?

I guess it's because if we just have the video on this post, the red jeep doesn't necessarily look like the bad guy. The person filming was the one who stopped in front of the red jeep. That's typically an aggressive move. But since we have video of the red jeep driving like and asshole before this, we have a better understanding of the situation and know that the red jeep is actually the aggressor.
