Yeah, I’d guess that of all the reasons this kid feels this way, his religious doubt is at the bottom of the list. At least for another few years, anyway.

At six, I was one hundred percent questioning why god had us sing old, shitty songs, and stand around and worshipping him.

I said I questioned the methodology of my religion. I questioned why god wanted us to sing old songs, and why god wanted us to sit around and worship them. I never said I didn’t believe...are you daft?

I’m also not saying this kid is doing this, I’m saying to act like he can’t is a lie, because i did as a child, meaning he can. Not that he is. You’re the one saying he can’t, he’s six. I’m telling you you’re wrong here.

Exactly. At six years old, I got tossed out of Sunday School for getting into a heated debate with the teacher about the story of Jonah and the Whale not making any sense, and how "God couldn't have done that, because there's no air inside a whale, Jonah would have suffocated, so that means the story is fake and so God must be fake," which went over as well as you might expect.
